Democratic Representative of Washington, Adam Smith, discusses Speaker Mike Johnson's individual bills to address aid for US allies, and shares that he will vote for them and expect the bills to pass in the House. Representative Smith also states that he will not vote to remove Speaker Johnson if the Speaker is faced with a motion to vacate, and claims there are other Democrats who feel the same way he does. Rep. Adam Smith speaks with Kailey Leinz and Joe Mathieu on Bloomberg's "Balance of Power."

This is why we need term limits, because people like this get very comfortable in their positions and they’ve got a very comfortable income from numerous different ways of working in the government and dumb.
