This is the clearest overview of Richters work I've ever seen. Brilliant

He seems to be investigating many different aspects and possibilities of figurative and abstract languages interweaving choice and chance into a very deep investigation of experience of significance

Some people have poo-pooed Richter's work. Perhaps that's because they haven't seen the full range of his pieces, something nicely presented in this doc. Thanks for the chance to see it. He's a great artist.

Richter is a very interesting artist - investigating all kinds of images and at the same time different ways of exploring all kinds of possibilities of painting and image making

How about HD? Come on this is Richter....
  • Incredible exhibition, and ironically Mr. Godfrey has been reprimanded for voicing his displeasure at the erroneous postponement of The Guston retrospective, work that speaks to the the racial injustice crisis.

I like Richter's paintings, but just paintings.
  • How does Richter get away with painting others photos? Isn't that copyright infringement? Great work!
