  • When he said “All TRUE stories,” I almost choked out my coffee! 😳
  • I'm a school secretary, I'm not surprised. No one wants to put in the time and effort to be parents!
  • @amandag417
Apparently schools not only have to raise kids now, they have to raise the parents, too.
  • @elaineplum6601
If only parents would parent. There is so much else to say, but everything goes back to the first sentence.
  • I was laughing so hard at this and was not surprised they were all true stories! As a high school secretary I can certainly relate, LOL!
  • @jolive7953
What generation does the parents belong too???? It’s only getting worse!! God help us!! 🙏
  • When I was a kid, there was no "changing grades." There was no turning in late work. If you got a zero, ya kept a zero! If you failed, guess what? Ya got held back. Ya get what ya get and ya don't raise a fit. Apparently, that's nkt true, these days.
  • I do enjoy your videos especially now that I am retired. We teachers all have stories that would astound people not in education.
  • I got one..." Mam your child hasn't logged on since Aug." ...well he has chicken pox...."mam but your child's virtual...

I was cracking up 🤣 because I have experienced every parent in this video! Truth is crazier than fiction!
  • fact can be stranger than fiction ...Keep them coming, teachers all over love your youtube video's ....
  • Worrying about my student’s parents, I forget to look on line for my own children’s missing assignments. Guess I’ll need to call myself and raise cane..... or get the link to that parenting article. BTW, I’m VERY thankful for you Gerry.

I used to coordinate my school's holiday helpers and afterwards I always got a few calls about gifts that parents didn't like. "I want to exchange the tennis shoes with laces for velcro instead. Why didn't I get a giftcard like another family did?" There were lots of grateful notes and thank yous too, so I tried to focus on the positives.
