I started following Pavlin when he said "Life is like a roll of toilet paper : the less it has left, the faster it spins"
  • I think the main reason I like you and your content is because you are so incredibly “down to earth” . Great talk, love it … 🙏🙏

You speak from my soul, Pavlin! I prepared myself (daily riding, off-road lessons) and my 13yrs old GS during the wintertime acc. to your online course. Just returned from a 4-weeks ride through Spain and Morocco. All you say in the video is absolutely true. The experiences, changing of landscapes and people etc. sooo fascinating! This is my addiction now, aged 68 yrs and full fit. Don’t need social media at all. Riding every day for 8-10 hrs on my own, staying with me alone. No graving for applause on WhatsApp & Co. What a feeling of freedom! This is probably your best video! 👍 Peter from Austria
  • "Set your own pace, have an escape route and assume other road users are drunken idiots. Look 5 vehicles ahead whenever you can." Best advice ever from an Advanced riding instructor back in the 90s.
  • Travel is the only thing you can buy that truly makes you richer. Safe, happy travels, and good luck over the next 3 months! 👍
  • Pavlin, this is your best video. You have captured the heart and soul of motorcycling. Just like you said, you never know when you will leave this world, so I try to get on my bike as often as I can. In September I go solo around France for 4 weeks. I am 70 years old and hope to ride till the end.
  • The best bike is the one you are riding. Every day could be your last. You won't see a motorbike parked in front of a psychiatrist office. It can however be difficult at times when traveling alone. Sometimes you are forced to think about things you don't want to. Safe journeys everybody 🙋‍♂️
  • I fully agree. There is no identical feeling to going down a road, and completely losing track of time and just enjoying the moment surrounded by the environment and having the wind in your face. It's what I consider, for a few moments, the true feeling of freedom where time ceases to exist, and it's just us living in that precise moment, in that exact instant of time... You have to experience it to know how magnificent it is. PS: I love your videos! They were my baseline to follow when I decided to go in 2017 on a solo Moto-trip from Portugal to Mongolia, and Back to Portugal, on my 1995 Yamaha XT600E. Every time I see your videos, I always remember of all the memories from that trip. Thanks! 🙂
  • Beautifully said. I think you should change your channel’s name to motorcycle philosophy. Your children, if you have any, are lucky to have a father like you. Always a delight to watch your videos and listen to you talks.
  • Even if I have a lot to do, I still grab a cup of coffee and view your vlogs. Bcoz when someone with loads of experience and knowledge about motorcycling in general speaks, we enthusiasts need to listen. Thank you for all the efforts you have put in all these years.
  • Very wise words Brother, and as much as I love riding long distance I cannot do as much anymore at 74 years of age. It's been a while since I saw your videos but, glad to be back
  • 🇦🇺 Oz here...aaah it's so good to hear the philosophy of a seasoned traveller/ adventurer. You're so spot on, the only thing that's holds us back in life is ourselves and is relevant in all facets of our life. You're the travelling philosopher. Love your chanel mate... 🤙🦘🇦🇺

Pavlin, I am in my mid 30s and you are one of the few male "adventurers" that I follow, purely because of your real life, level headed approach. Interestingly many female motorcycle adventure riders take less silly risks than males... though even here there is a shift starting, especially with sports bikes. I want my life on a motorcycle to last a long time. Keep it up. So excited for you, about the trip to Magadan.
  • @BP-id4cq
I love the fact that you shoot from the hip. You tell it like it is and not only give motorcycle advice but life related advice as well. Great work and thanks!
  • Всичко което правите,за да остави следа в сърцето трябва да има страст. Бъдете живи и здрави. Пазете се,карайте разумно защото някой Ви чака (ако не е зад вас на мотора),въпреки това имате деца.. Бог да е с Вас.
  • Totally agree Pav! Addiction yes! Been riding a few years, and enjoyed 3 day trips. Now, 3 years into retirement, and on my 4th major trip in the states from Oregon to Kansas to visit my father. (Currently in Kansas with my pops) Anyways, camped last year, and consider it the best way to travel on a motorcycle. I have taken alot of tips from you and my time learning from you has been well spent. Nothing better than being on the open rode and I can't come close to articulating the joy of riding, but totally understand your feelings as expressed on your videos! Thank you!
  • Hy, Pavlin...i have watched most of your videos and i honestly think this is one of the best...congratulations and good luck on your journey!🙂👍

I can relate. I bought my first bike Ninja 250R 2 years ago at age 43. I transform her in touring bike. At beginning short trips made me happy but this changed after first long trip and about a week after it started itching again and this year I pass till now several countries. I deleted all my social media posts because I notice that very few people actually apreciate photos to inspire them but instead they were jelous. So I dont post nothing anymore, I ride for myself and for now I dont see myself in any other bike than my Ninja. And when time comes I hope God will grant me another Ninja but this time 400 because they do not sell anymore 250. Happy and safe trips to you!

What an awesome and very realistic video Pavlin, well done and thanks for sharing it!! 👍👍
  • @Jer0867
Yet another great video, Pavlin! And so much wisdom and depth in this one...quite philosophical, and lots of food for thought! 😀👍
