Reading is as they say fundamental! My 103 year old grand mother still reads everyday. Thank you for this Marcus Garvey moment!

Dr. Carr is the current, missing element in the Black community. He not only possesses memory of what did happen; he also has the ability to captivate the attention of the much younger crowd through oral traditions and/or story telling. Through personal experience I find that today's kids are fascinated with a good story; which can open an avenue to effective listening. We simply have to believe in the process.

Stimulate the mind and you'll stimulate the body. I get chills as I learn.

Great focus, Dr. Carr. I listen every weekend and felt honored to have been in the company of Bro. Kwame Toure on Howard Campus in 1982...It was nice of you to mention another Trinidadian Tony Martin. Marcus Garvey woke up our community to the world. I was listening to one of his speeches on Tuesday. Ty!
