Southeast New Mexico and West Texas are home to multiple national parks and tons of fun cities like El Paso, Roswell, Las Cruces & Terlingua. On a recent road trip, my dad and I spent five days driving through this area and visiting those cities, as well as Big Bend, Carlsbad, and White Sands National Parks. Come along on this road trip with us and make plans to experience this area for yourself. Let me know what we missed in the comments!

My dad and I used to road trip together. He’s departed now, but watching you two brings back wonderful memories.

When we came back from this trip, I stumbled into a book called "Frontier Fighter: The autobiography of George W. Coe who fought and rode with Billy the Kid." If you want a little history of the region, including info about the "Lincoln County War" it is a great resource.

I literally feel i m travelling with you, guys. Those videos are unique: well filmed, not too short, not too long. No idle chattering. I really enjoy them. Besides, it is so endearing to see a dad and his son do those trips and hikes.

These father and son vlogs are awesome especially Route 66 stops. I am convinced that I am overdue for a trip to the American southwest after watching this vlog. Great coverage!!

My parents took me to the caverns when I was about 5. That would have been 70 years ago.. yes, I am that old. The open caverns only went as far as the cafeteria back then. I still remember the cafeteria and the elevator that took forever to reach the top. Thanks for the happy memory.

Your Roadtrips are awesome. Now I just want to visit the USA and make these trips myself. thanks for all the impressions. And greetings to your dad. He seems like a very nice person and great travel companion. Best wishes from Germany!
  • I love New Mexico. You have to go up north to Taos and hike up to Wheeler Peak, the tallest mountain in NM. There's a lake up there with crazy good views.

Josh you have a really cool dad! Kudos to him for conquering the claustrophobia and going down the caverns part of this trip! Pops, I know you read this too so YOU GO SIR! I love watching this and CTML after work to relax. I feel like an accomplished traveller already!

yall made me so home sick. I grew up in El Paso and we would road trip it all summer all over the place up to Taos where my dad went to High school, camping in the mountains of new mexico. WE were always going to lunch at La Posta one of my favorites. Alpine marfa ft davis was a great meeting place to meet up with grandparents and cousins from Midland Odessa area, Carlsbad was an other favorite. I love it in the summer where it is just unbearably hot outside but you go into the cavern and the temp drop is just right. Thanks for the video!
