Everyone's talking about how it's a metaphor of Sonic games getting obsolete, but can we take a moment to talk about how heartbreaking it is when Sonic breaks down when he realizes he'll never see his friends alive again?

I’m tearing up… this may be an older video but it just hits harder now with the series still on its way down, even if some of the character choices at the end are outdated. It stung me when Sonic broke down, partly cuz it sounded so real (kudos to the VA) and partly cuz he’s the character I hold closest to my heart. No amount of bad games or company betrayals or anything will ever make me change my mind. Don’t cry, Sonic. We still love you and we’ll never forget you💙

I was only watching this because it came up in my recommended and I figured there would be a funny twist, but when Ty the Tasmanian Tiger came up I genuinely gasped and started to cry a little bit. That game was so good and SO underrated and is absolutely one of my favorites to this day. I never actually thought I'd see him in a YouTube vid!

You are only truly dead when nobody remembers you. As long as someone keeps you in their heart in some way or another they are never truly dead. Ty, bubsy, Klanoa, Alex kid and the rest aren't dead because we remember them.

An excellent quality animation, but the concepts of it have aged terribly. Sonic is hardly dead. Movies, Frontiers in late 2022, tons of merchandise, comics, and a HUGE dedicated fan base. Not to mention that some of these mascots have returned. Crash has been back for a while now.

i really feel like the fans and memes are keeping sonic around and its sad really you hate to see what its come to but through the good side of the fandom we have some passionate game developers and passionate fans i wish bubsy and ty got that sort of love with that in mind i hope everyone has an awesome day

Tears of nostalgia only began to flow when I saw and recognised Croc. Its a damn shame that he's been forgotten. I remember when I used to play him when I was a little girl, but one day the game disappeared. And to this day I think of it every so often, thinking of the good times playing it.

I like how Sonic's version of eternal paradise has all the things he loves like endless looping paths to run on, all the chilidogs he can eat and all the Badniks he can smash. I hope that's what Heaven will really be like...
