  • Anyone else oddly in love with airports?! I could spend an entire day just chilling and people watching. 😌
  • "Get to the airport early" No problem my mom always makes us go to the airport like 4 hours early lol. Not that I'm mad. Airports are fun :)
  • @jamiebaker1209
If it’s possible eat before you go to the airport! All of the restaurants are crazy expensive. Save your money and pick up something on the way or eat before you go.

If you are stressed and need 15 minutes of quiet to recoup, find the prayer room.
  • Tip 11 get the airline app if available and any gate changes or boarding times will alert you right on your phone.screen. Makes things a lot more relaxing.

Hi Stella! I am a gate agent for the same airline as you. I like your tips but just want to add Don’t be late (I agree with you). Passengers who get to the gate too late for their flight have to go STANDBY on the next flight to their destination (sometimes standby on connecting flights! 🥺 If they want to be confirmed, it does have a charge, but flights are usually full as you well know. Be aware that TSA lines can sometimes take hourS. It is much better to be inside security early and waiting a while than to be stressing about missing your flight. Please consider checking your carry-on bag at the gate for free when the offer is made. If you already have a paid-for bag checked, your carry-on will also go to baggage claim, but without more charges. Once we run out of overhead bin space, we have to check all rolling bags and large duffel bags. Period. This almost always means group 9. Gate agents love people who check their bags voluntarily. Do not stuff your carry-on too full. If it fails to EASILY fit into the sizer frame, it MUST be checked. I have seen multiple flights delayed due to BROKEN BINS where people tried to force their carry-on into the bin then tried to force the bin closed. Opt in for notifications on your phone about your flight. Our airline now texts passengers when BOARDING BEGINS!! Yes! And this one tip will save many people a lot of stress trying to find connecting gate info: on any smart phone’s browser, type in the airline code and the flight number to see the departure terminal and gate, arrival terminal and gate (up to the MINUTE!). This also gives you any delay information. Hope to see you coming thru CLT sometime! Safe travels! ✈️ Diane

Airports today are more like big shopping malls, by chance next to an airport. Especially in Asia.
  • @daveygivens735
Pro Tip: Do NOT pack four large candy bars and wrap them together with your phone charger cord.
  • My tips.... Always wear leggings, they are comfortable and you don't want your pants legs bottoms touching the bathroom floors. When packing, use packing cubes this saves time going thru TSA and you can eliminate a bag. Have your ID/PASSPORT in an easy access area oh as well as your boarding pass. Upload your boarding pass to your phone.

I’ve gotta say I drop plenty of friends off at the airport and I don’t mind at all😊
  • @myrrh1581
My mom once got to the airport early for the flight before her actual flight so the airline let her board the earlier one!
  • @missVmilne
Be kind, smile and say thank you - nice manners and patience help to ease the stresses people sometimes reflect onto others. Enjoy ! : - )
  • Yes, don't delay going through the security. I walked past and saw all the security gates were empty, so I went and had a coffee and I returned 30 minutes before departure. There were suddenly 50 people on each line! They appeared out of nowhere!
  • @MrBannnnnny
Some TSA agents are awful people, just smile at them and don’t let it get to you. They can make your day a whole lot harder if they wanted.
  • @sparklewell
Great video, thank you Stella! Mine are 1. carry a portable cell phone charger, an empty water bottle, eat before I arrive but no large, heavy meals keep it light and nutritious, 2. download the airport/airline app is a MUST, 3. wear leggings & sneakers instead of dresses & sandals for "mobility", 4. ask flight attendant to fill your bottle with ice instead of water which helps cut down trips to bathrooms on and off the plane, 5. bringing a GOOD book to get lost in is a MUST (this helps with the butterflies I get in my stomach when flying), 6. pin my hair up 7. courtesy to airline staff & passengers is a MUST
  • @Sralchemist
I wanted to thank you. I posted on the "10 flight attendant training tips" video that I was leaving for training and am excited to report that I got my wings! 💙🛫
  • @lakb45
It is so boring to get there early and sit around, but the anxiety of being late is much worse. She’s right.Go early. Check your bags early. Then check in and get past security. Find your gate, then look for restaurants, gift shops, whatever. But KNOW where your gate is and that you are clear with security.
  • So many YouTubers offer airport tips. I'm listening to the one's offered by a flight attendant. Thanks Stella! Love your channel.
