  • I can’t believe Lisa Marie just passed only a couple of days after this, such a tragedy. Glad she got to see her father honored in such a profound way before she passed.

The fact that both Priscilla and Lisa Marie are there supporting him & touched their hearts, almost at the same time, while hearing Austin, just shows that he deserves everything and more from this film. You can feel how much that meant to both of them. Especially when Austin mentioned memories, Priscilla really took that in. 🖤

“I want to say to my fellow nominees, you have turned in the most beautiful, profound work. I’m so honored and proud to be listed among you.” That’s how you accept an award. So gracious, humble, and honoring his fellow nominees. Well deserved.

“You could at least play Suspicious Minds” absolutely legendary. Such a well deserved awards and amazing actor
  • That was from the heart. How he ended with "Elvis, you are remembered" was directly to Elvis fear that he wouldn't be remembered. Austin Butler is amazing. He still has the Elvis voice too.

"My boy, my boy" one of Elvis’ favorite lines! Congrats to Austin. What a special night with Lisa Marie getting to see him win.

Wow. I love this kid. That was one of the best acceptance speeches ever given. “I will never forget” is such a tribute to Elvis. Just beautiful.

Grew up watching Austin as a background actor for Nickelodeon now seeing this happen makes me feel so proud for him!
  • @katm6086
When he said Thank you "Mama" really sounded like Elvis and how Elvis called his "Mama." He is amazing hope he stays just like he is and keeps that bit of Elvis in him.
  • @delix787

  • He gave us some cinematic moments that cannot be forgotten. He embodied The King and at times his likeness to him was just stunning. He makes it easy to root for him and this speech is one of the very best I have ever seen from a young up and coming talent. Congrats Austin!
  • @steve334
My boy, my boy!!! You did it Austin! Elvis would be so proud of you!!
  • What he said at the very end to Elvis…”You are remembered and I will never forget!”
  • He absolutely deserved this win. His dedication to the role gave Elvis back to the world in all his electrifying, charismatic, tragic glory, and that is something truly special. Enjoy the spotlight, Austin. You have earned it.
