This is your calling in life. Excellent video. Naming all the fittings and codes without useless banter is rare indeed. Learned more from these short videos than hours spent with plumbing books. Please make more free videos.

No matter how simple, no matter how good it is explained, I can always turn it into a disaster! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  • I watched this video before i became an apprentice last year and was confused on everything πŸ˜‚ now here i am a 1 year apprentice and this video is incredibly easy to follow. I appreciate the help from back then!
  • Awesome video. Not only explaining how to but the piping specs are JUST as vital. I hope he does one for each fixture, walk-in shower, tub.

What a nice guy you are! Thanks for this meaningful information for all of us DIY homeowners. I live in a rural area and plumbers will either not answer their phone, not show up during hunting season or come in with an extravagant quote. Thank you very much!!!

I'm just reinforcing the already positive comments by saying, your diagrams are sooo helpful. It's one thing to know your craft but to be able to explain it and SHOW it for an average Joe like myself, makes a world of a difference. The visualizations paired with your narration, were splendid. Thank you!

Just spent the $50 for the blueprints and online help, worth every penny!

WOW! This has to be the best video I've ever seen on the topic of bathroom plumbing. The explanation is top rate and the descriptive nomenclature is an invaluable resource. And the free diagrams are a big bonus. You have a new subscriber. Thanks so much.

One more quick tip, if your vent goes straight up through the plate line, it's a good idea to offset the vanity vent so there is no conflict with the electrician's light box.

Subscribed. Who needs school when you have great teachers like yourself, and you'll eventually get paid by YouTube with enough views. It's a win win for everyone. Trying to get a raise soon.

Man am I glad I found your page. I'm installing a bathroom where there is no existing plumbing and I had no idea where to start. You've already been a wealth of information. Thank you sir.

You sir, are an excellent teacher. I came here to see what fittings were acceptable when a vertical drain dumps into a horizontal line. Now I will chech your other vides to see how far my toilet can be from the vent. Thanks

You got the best plumbing videos by far. No bs, straight to it and always on point.

Thank you! It's so hard to get clear, understandable diagrams and information that's not full of plumbing jargon. We are in the stages of trying to figure out if it's feasible to DIY a bathroom in our basement. I've looked at dozens of videos and this is the only one that made sense to me.
  • @jimhabsfan

  • Agree with Eliana... the cleanest, clearest video on plumbing I have seen with great code callouts on section references. Well done!
