What do you guys think was the source of the Salisbury Steak?
  • @ctxduke28
I think the Salisbury steak is made using our real world meat processing standards. The joke is if we the audience really knew how it was made we’d be horrified.

This episode felt like watching a classic season 1/2 episode, I hope they keep this season good
  • Rick and Morty is at its best when it delves into dark territory because the series always finds something both hilariously twisted and thoughtful to say about life. It reminded me of some of the best episodes in the series, such as Rick Potion #9 and The Vat of Acid Episode. Truly a fantastic episode

Fred's life montage hits hard. The song choice was perfect. People who tell you cartoons are childish and immature have not crawled out of their caves. A lot of powerful and insightful programming have been cartoons in the past decade. Rick and Morty, Invincible, What if?, even Attack on Titan (it took forever to get to the end though).

I love how the alternate cross looks like a fork. Amazing.

I don't think Amber and Fred split up before going to college, it feels like they're going through a rough patch of long distance relationship, that's why when he cheated on her and called her to let her know, Amber cried and won't take him back.

i loved the parmeeesian reference. this made me laugh out lout. it was really clever and fit the spaghetti motif perfectly.

I’ve watched 4 different channels’ post episode breakdowns, NRs are the first to have included both a content warning about self harm and a note about seeking help, just another reason your videos are the best 🥰
  • @dezdoss5388
censoring the spaghetti in the body somehow makes it seem more graphic
  • @kenrivers9757
My ONLY question is HOW DID RICK FIGURE OUT YOU COULD EAT THE PEOPLES INNARDS????🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • @lornbaker1083
Rick's little ending monologue is actually very deep. And correct. If you want to live life you need to eat. Otherwise you're gonna starve. The key is learning how to live well. And fred he really knew how to do it right.

Am I the only one who also saw some criticism of the modern culture where our "leaders" (governments, companies, wars, etc) find ways to profit/grow and encourage us to destroy ourselves happily for it? Anyway... this is one of the best in the series with the Vat of Acid episode and the one where they transform the C-137 dimension into Cronenberg!

Fred got an ‘F’ in architecture. He failed his dream. He had the desire, the one thing he wanted to do, but he couldn’t. He fell into depression, turned to his ex, and contemplated ending it all on the bridge..but he never truly gave in until he was old and dying and could do one last good deed. The tools he was given wasn’t working, so he made his own. While it wasn’t his original dream he still found happiness. Don’t give up.
  • @thechad4485
Pointing out that small swerve on the bridge is my first time noticing that. Most of the suicide content of the episode didn’t bother me, but seeing that now, I just started sobbing. I remember when I stopped driving my car and started walking to places, during one of the lowest times of my life, because I didn’t trust myself behind the wheel anymore. That’s a beautiful, yet haunting detail.
  • @jesseturner9865
That video phone reminded me of the video phone from the original Blade Runner.
  • @davidchuks4444
I was wondering what was the point of warning about self harm when last episode we literally saw Rick kill himself in Jerry’s body….but then the episode started and I was OH okay that’s why
  • @sinancothebest
An addition about Jerry's Octopus line is that Octopi usually need to be smashed alive for their muscles to release and make tender octopus dish, thus Morty probably told that to the family and stopped thrm from eating delicious octopi
