  • Great video again Bob. Nice to see you all out together again. Enjoy your time ;))
  • The camping areas always look a bit sad when they are so empty during mid week in winter. This campsite is a great, well presented site with excellent facilities in the centre of the country park. We had the pleasure of your company too, which we really enjoyed. Thank you for your generosity when answering all our technical questions about vlogging and to Jenny for researching and preparing all the itinerary options for our forthcoming European trip in September. Safe travels and see you again soon 😃👍🏻🚐🚐 Trev n Sue
  • We stayed there last year. It’s a great location to break our journey when we head south and it’s excellent for our three dogs. The walk along the disused railway line to Morrison’s in Staveley is good if the weather is fine. Thanks as always for sharing an interesting video.
  • Hi jenny, Bob, & Trevor & sue & poppy & her other furry friends. I like this site as it is very quiet & pretty. I hope you all have a lovely time. Lots of love. Linda xx ❤
  • We love Poolsbrook…a nice straight run down from just outside Durham with our caravan. We were actually on pitch 44 in November, although it looks as if they’ve upgraded the taps on the serviced pitches. We took the electric hire bikes out and went down along the canal…great walks nearby and also a good day out at Hardwick Hall National Trust. Enjoy your next location….Helen & Mark xx
  • Love poolsbrook , great walk to chesterfield via the canal ( near Morrisons) even better on a bike

Stayed here two years ago - Enjoyed our stay although Staveley isn't the prettiest of places. Bolsover castle is worth a visit and we where grateful for the extra push of the electric bikes to get up the hill. There is a bus stop right outside the site with a good connection to Chesterfield.
  • Great video as always was interesting to see how to get into Poolsbrook as we are currently staying here tonight Friday 10 Feb on way up to East Yorkshire . And what a difference a few days make site is almost full today only a couple of spaces available compared to your visit last week .👍 best wishes Mark & Hazel

Southbound Bob 😆 nice film 👍 it does look a little grim on first arrival though
  • @peters6601
This site brings back many memories, was here a few years ago with 3 Flatcoats and Cocker Spaniel. Lovely walks off site. Sadly only have the Cocker now.
  • We were there the same time, spotted our car and caravan on the video ☺️
  • @keefnbales
I stayed on pitch 41 around 18 mths or a little less ago and the pitches were serviced pitches back then. Nice site. Local .... ish ..... for me. Enjoyed the vid. Nice to walk with the dogs around the late there.

Always good content. Sure does look a lovely camp site, with all the nicely laid out facilities. Seems only a shop missing. Stay safe and enjoy.
  • @LeisureBit
Looks a nice campsite, thought it would have been busier too, strange at the moment as they seem to be either quiet or fairly busy randomly. We are planning to visit the area later in the year so great to see some ideas on places to stay. (Thank you) Looked like a decent selection of books and things, always nice to have a look at the local area. Very practical hat too - I got one similar as a stocking filler at Christmas and it came in very handy so far. Always great to see you guys and Trev n Sue, Hope you have had (or having) a great stay, All the best, David & Rachel 👍
  • Is this the new parking between the pegs? I’ve yet to experience them. Does seem a simpler way of doing things. 😊
  • Almost Drive past my House in Creswell. Its nice at poolsbrook. Great site to go to if you do Park run too. As one around the lake.
  • @deenunya7735
Oh Bob You was Doing so Good then let your self Down, Knew where you was going to, then Thought was going in Opp Direction and Times Stayed at a Site ,Doh !!! 🤭 Nice Vid inWrongDirection
  • They certainly look nicer and more spread out than Australian CPs. Everybody's crammed into ones here and with every man and his dog parking their Landcruiser 200 or Dodge RAM tow vehicle on site makes it worse. Are caravan awnings and roof top air conditioners not common or popular on British caravans?
  • @jimsmum21
It’s a bit characterless for us, just looks like a big car park x
