I found your channel through your video about running 5k for 30 days. I've wanted to lose weight and get back to running. So far I am 4 stone down and will soon be at a weight where I can start running again. So far I power walk most days. Great video. Great life story.
  • I love this! Believe it or not I am 74 turning 75 in January and you have motivated me to make the changes that I have been wanting to make forever. Never too old.

I am an almost 47 years old single mum from Germany and I took care of my parents until they passed. So I didnā€™t really work in my profession as an actor for almost 20 years. I did many adverts and little roles for TV, it was always enough for paying my rent and taking care of my kids. When I was ready to get back and even got my first bigger role for more than 15 years, covid hit. The project was cancelled, I stayed at home with my kids and I felt the time just running from me. I had to learn how to make e-castings, but I wasnā€™t good at this. Then I got diagnosed with ADHD when I was 45, which explained why my biography was so rocky. I felt too old to be back in business. I thought I could never make it anymore in my age. In January 23 I attended a coaching weekend named ā€žwho wants to be seen, must show upā€œ. This was a huge mind shift for me, I understood that until Iā€˜m lying in a coffin nothing is too late. Next week, if everything is going well, Iā€˜m flying to Dublin for my first little role in a Hollywood movie. This is insane and just shows, how a short moment can change your life. You just need to take the chances life offers you. Thank you for this inspiring video. It shows that itā€™s a process to be ready for taking a leap. But it can be the most rewarding thing to do.

I called that. Living a full life. A reminder time we canā€™t get back. Material items come and go. But time just go. I believe you made the best decision for you. I think you inspiring people like me is something no money can pay. To me you are an incredible person. Please continue your journey so we can be continued to be inspired. My short story is that I was an alcoholic. 3 years a go I found Zwift. As of today I have ridden 43,500 KM, and climb 350,000 meters of elevation
  • Wow, this is literally a masterpiece by the way! Love the effort that goes in to these videos, absolutely amazing! This has inspired me so much, I'm a 27 year old Mum who has lost my way in life a little, I feel like this is just what I needed to watch! ā¤ so inspiring thank you!

Great story! I work in beauty salon and actually I'm very good at my job. Good salary, famous/successful clients, everyday is different but the same at the same time. Every day I dreamed about the nature, healthy life (sports, food, free time). Patience is the key. Hope next year when I saved enough money I will start processing my dream. Wish everybody luck.

Thank you for sharing your inspirational life story, I put on my trainers 3 years ago in a bid to quit alcohol! Thankfully I achieved that goal, perfect Sunday evening viewing ā¤ļø

I thinks itā€™s great that you realised the emptiness so early in life and acted upon your instincts. I had entered the corporate world and gave it my all. Put up with the knuckleheads and the bullying. Eventually learned to give as good as I got. Just became one of them. I hated it and what Iā€™d become. Turned off and thatā€™s when I stopped climbing the ladder. Iā€™m 64 now reasonably senior but through circumstances canā€™t comfortably retire. Iā€™m overweight, unfit and the only thing still working the way God intended is my hair, at least I have a full head of. The young hotshots at work are giving this dinosaur grief and I feel Iā€™m in that no way out spot. I donā€™t know what I want to do but I sure know what I donā€™t want to do. Maybe start small I thought. I watched my first vid of yours a few weeks ago and that inspired my to at least try regain some fitness. 30 minutes of something every day. Thatā€™s my bridge.

I cried so hard!!! Although i have no desire to do rowing, u made me realize that i too am stuck in a situation that I feel absolutely numb in! The way you told your story and described the feelings in your body gave me huge deja vu's. I don't lack material things but something big in me feels incredibly unfulfilled. It's been feeling like a slow death rather than living. So, I'm going to listen to my inner voice on where i should go, instead of givng into this slow death. Thank you ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤

I have watched some of your videos and enjoyed them but this one beats all. I found this very inspiring.
  • Iā€™ve done it, and still doing itā€¦.. we are amazing, when your around 47 I personally will be around 69ā€¦. I can tell you, based on what you have achieved so far, the best is still yet to come. My 40ā€™s were the years it all came together, life before 50 is just the warm up , do take care. You are an inspiration!
  • My 'bridge & back' is cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats. Got hooked on the idea when I did my first cycle from where I live in Hemel to Norwich. Never felt so much elation & euphoria when I achieved it for the first time. Seeing blue-purplish skyline & developing light when I set off early morning & knowing it was just me and the road plus laying out in a cornfield stretching my hams in the middle of Suffolk with the big sky above were amazing emotional epiphanies & images I'll never forget. Lovely & thoroughly enjoyable video Laura.
  • Wow Laura. What an incredible and hugely motivational video. I am so impressed by your ability to push through and it's so encouraging to see "regular" people turn things around and do something amazing. Can I also say your filmmaking and editing has also come a long, long way! Look forward to continuing to see you grow.
  • I love your videos! I recently quit the crap job Iā€™d being doing at the bottom of the corporate ladder FOR 20 YEARS! Why tf I did it for so long I can only put down to fear. However now Iā€™m doing some more and looking to the future. Keep the great videos coming Laura I canā€™t wait to see the one of your massive rowing adventures šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘šŸ˜

This is truly an inspirational video. Forget about all the so-called Youtube videos that only tell you what you should do and think but youĀ“ve actually showed everyone how it is done. IĀ“m 35 and due to circumstances of past life IĀ“m at a point where IĀ“m for the first time finding myself and my values. IĀ“ve got to think what IĀ“ve always wanted to do and just do it
  • @martindavis1913
I only discovered your channel yesterday and am very impressed by your no B.S. honest and genuine approach. I have spent my life doing what I should house, schooling kids, caring for parents etc.Now about to retire and looking forward to busting out of mediocrity. Thanks for the inspiration.Thank you for being you!
  • @tejamakoter
Such an amazing video. I was on the verge of crying the whole time. I don't even know you, but I'm so happy for you. :)
  • The fear of failure when dreaming or wanting try something new can be paralyzing. Sharing your story in this video will certainly give a few people the motivation to startā€¦ and for that you have done something great. Thank you!
