Where did the racist people go? They didn't disappear.....
  • Who is this child’s parents? They need their ssa kicked for using their child!!!!
  • Don’t take your black self to Vidor. They just need your money from the taxes. I stopped 2weeks ago for gas, and the clerk looked at my black self like I was a plague. He took on my money, but I knew he did not want me there.

Send a black guy with a white blonde woman on his arm and see how much they have changed
  • I don't care what Vidor, has to say now. Once a racist always a racist.

Vidor is STILL a sundown town pleaseeee don’t believe that things have changed. I recently had to stop at a gas station when I was headed to visit my family in Louisiana. Trust me I didn’t want to stop but my dog had to use the bathroom. At the gas station there was a truck with a couple of white men and they were hurling racist insults at me and my dog. I immediately got in the car and got the hell out of there. Oh and this was during the day!!!!

Im from Beaumont Texas ... even the cops of Vidor will tell you to not be around anywhere in Vidor close to 6pm. I was born in 85 and trust me ... its still the same.
  • I remember a black family tried to move to Vidor, TX, in the early 2000s. The husband had gotten a job in the Houston area. However, the housing at the time was coming off the Hurricane Katrina situation." "To say they had to deal with racists and racism would be an understatement. The family's suv had its tires slashed and had "N I G ***" plastered on the windshields of the family SUV." "His work truck was stolen, and the family house randomly had it's windows busted out while they were at work and school. His truck was later found on a back road on blocks." The family went from being interviewed on the news about moving to Vidor, TX, to moving completely out of Texas." " I was a sophomore in high school when this happened. I remember it vividly. Especially coming off the James Bird Jasper, TX, dragging death in 1998, I believe."

Yeah...they're broke....To hell with that. They can have it.
  • I never knew Sundown towns existed until I started looking for a retirement home in Oklahoma! I made sure the town we moved to was not a Sundown town! I didn't want my White grandchildren a victim of that kind of hatred! Racism is a learned experience!!

They want your $ but WILL make your life miserable I guarantee it!

It's better the racist you know than the racist you don't know.

I would not want to live there. The evil, hate, ungodliness spirits that still dwell there. Can you imagine the evil things that have taken place there to black people. I couldn’t.
