The Great Horned Owl is one of the largest and most powerful owl species in America. What are your thoughts on this magnificent bird?

The Cameraman was an even better stalker.

No flap sounds? Really a deadly and silent nocturnal hunter. Perfectly evolved to hunt flawlessly in the dark. I guess, those ear-like feathers makes it look more... Beautiful.

It's so scary when one sees an owl in the dark. Their eyes are so powerful.
  • Owls are slowly becoming my favorite animal. They’re amazing. They look mythical, they’re quiet, and they could stare a hole into you.

When you watch a one video of an owl and now you're watching owl videos for over 3 hours

Owls are truly badass creatures. People always talk about eagles and hawks when thinking about alpha birds of prey and I always go immediately to owls. Got to see a barn owl up close a lot when I was kid because he lived in a building we had on the property. I'd stay out there some nights during the summer to watch him leave on his hunts and even saw him bring a mouse back to his nest for dinner a couple times. Truly amazing animals.
  • Flying without any noise, seeing in the night very well and hearing perfectly. What a great predator.
