thank you for demonstrating how every part of this bike can be serviced, it answers so many doubts I had about how to service my own vintage road bikes.

That’s my first road bike in 90’s !!! Gift from my parents, very happy to see it into your hands, nice job ❤

Hi guys as per most of the comments I love it when you get an old bike in as it’s really satisfying seeing it brought back to life 🙂
  • @drevo50
The old Peugeot bikes just look so elegant…must be the frame, very slender albeit quite heavy. Brilliant job as always!
  • @marcusevsy
Absolutely beautiful restoration. I'd much prefer to buy a bike like this than a new one especially after you've brought it back to life
  • @kippen64
My bike is only sixteen years old but it was a cheap bike with old school tech. It's given faithful service and gets me to work.
  • Wow. That is the most comprehensive restoration I’ve seen on your channel. With so many issues to address, your patient thoroughness really shines; it’s this kind of approach that ensures, the aesthetic, function, and safety afforded by your fidelity to details. Great job!!
  • Wow, what a save from the skip and what a restoration, brought back many memories of my 7 mile each way daily commute to work in the early 90’s on my Peugeot bike, in those days I could eat a mars bar for breakfast and never put on weight, now I can’t even look at a mars bar with out immediate weight gain 😂. I guess like the bike I’m vintage as well.

Great transformation but i love the fact that this guy is wearing a luxury watch (Rolex) whilst doing it. Made my day that as i collect watches but i wear them all also no matter the occasion. Great video, many thanks.👍

I brought a Raleigh Record off E-Bay for £40. Stripped it down and changed all cables and bearings and renewed a lot of parts. I was fortunate to work at a company that did powder coating and had it done in a nice blue. It was a superb bike and I enjoyed taking it out for a long ride. Thanks for this video.
  • Nice to see a old bike restored, must be people who love the vintage with a verry thiny splurge of modern. My dad owed one of those Peugot bikes when i was a kid. Personaly i keep my Gazelle Puerto 2004 allive and up to date. 2004 frame with now airshock, ebike conversion, one by drive and latest upgrade oil disck brakes. not vintage but great fun
  • @zdravo4
WOW I can see Weinmann “suicide” levers and calippers. I have similar brakes on my oldtimer road bike which I restored and gues what, it runs really great and it is fast and so nice to ride.

What a time warp. I had a metallic turquoise version in '87. I have such fond memories of it. Thank you so much for this video.
  • @davidlutan7727
What an outstanding transformation for the bike. The Video is absolutely brilliant. It is amazing to me that the old bikes had such great quality parts that are pretty much bomb proof. Thanks for the awesome share, a real gem.
  • @Onigure
Amazing work in this one. Congrats to the owner and to you as a mechanic.
  • @chanzdad
For those that tinkers w bikes. I guess they can really feel the joy or pleasure when the mechanical parts move and guide smoothly after all the cleaning and lubrication. Feels like mechanical gods align and restore the magic feel of the bike.
