Wooden scaffolding ! The last time I saw that was in Agadir , Morocco in about1980. The whole edifice was tied together with rope. It actually looked fairly rigid and was 5 or 6 floors high and being used by plasterers . The wooden scaffolding in this clip looks less secure to my untrained eye.

That membrane should be protected up until the very end with cardboard at the very least. We usually temporarily cover with plywood to avoid damage from materials moving about, tools, men, ect.

A few super important issues you missed on the torch down roofing ,#1 all metal MUST be primed on top & bottom using asphalt primer ,#2 the field sheet should be ran even with the fascia edge,then have a pre primed drip edge set in a bead of roofing mastic and nailed every 4 to 6 inches ,then a 6" wide strip of torch down is welded to the edge of the metal and extending atleast 4 inches on the roof membrane ,a wise contractor will leave the stripping material back a half inch from the edge of the metal,once the job is complete will then use a probe " ice pick " to search out any areas where the torch down material isnt properly welded to the metal and repair the loose spots with a plumbers torch ,lastly a full bead of roofing mastic in a caulk tube should be applied on the 1/2 " exposed metal to stripping connection and tooled in to completely seal the metal to membrane connection point .

This is ridiculous. I built many homes on scaffolding like that. Nothing wrong with it. That's how they did it for decades. Too bad there's so many other problems. Trades never got passed down. Years ago a contractor would at least become a journeyman in a trade before he got a license.

On the roofing you missed a serious issue that is code everywhere in USA and Canada for torch down roofing ,anywhere where asphalt roofing membrane comes in contact with metal edjing the metal drop edge ,gravel stop etc MUST be primed with an asphalt primer before installation, also the way they terminated that roof by torching the roofing membrane directly over the drip edge is wrong ,the roofing membrane must go to the edge of the roof ,then have a drip edge primed on both sides set into a solid head of roofing mastic and nailed down securing the membrane from blow offs ,then the primed drip edge must be 3 courses with mastic & rag ,or have a 12 inch strip torched over the drip edge which sandwiches the perimeter edge of the roof between w layers of membrane ,you cannot do the edge of a torch down roof like you would a pvc or tpo roof .

The flashing needs a primer applied before the torch down as well.

damn, construction can be such a headache, feel bad for everyone involved.
