Watching them eating pizza and the one thing that stuck in my mind is Mr. Z saying you wouldn’t put cheese and watermelon together. But ask any Greek and they will tell you that you can, as long as it’s feta cheese. Sweet and salty…the perfect combination!

Where I used to get deep dish the crust around the edge was not so wide and the fillings weren't sunken into the center, it was flat across the top. They also served it in the cast iron skillet that they had baked it in, they wore oven mitts and placed a cork board under it to protect the table when they delivered it and made sure to warn you every time that it was hot.

I'm dieing watching you guys eat a deep dish pizza with a fork and knife. It's original design was intended to pick up all the toppings as you would a traditional crust.

I might be a biased Chicagoan, but we do have some amazing pizza. Highly recommend a fly to Chi for a Za marathon. Lou Malanti’s, Pequod’s, And Spacca Napoli…you boys can’t go wrong.

This is flashing me back to making friends with the Italian exchange students in school. A few were very much fond of Domino’s pizza, because “it’s not pizza, it’s a cheesy bread with toppings, and that’s not something we’re used to!”

There is also Tavern style pizza 🍕 in Chicago too (it’s flat crusted and cut into squares).

I love how Ollie was trying to convince Mr. Z that Chicago deep dish pizza was indeed the original pizza from 2000 years ago. 😂😂 It was like trying to tell a child that Santa doesn’t exist.

I’m from Chicago and since I live in the Midwest, ranch on pizza is VERY common. I switched out ranch for bleu cheese on my pizza and it’s become one of my favorite combinations. I’m glad Mr. Z can accept me for putting bleu cheese on pizza

Mr Z’s opening reminded me of all the little girls on dance moms, for some odd reason, he’s so sassy I love it 😂
