Reading and Northern 2102 pulls its final Iron Horse Ramble of the season, on September 2nd, 2023. This ex-Reading Railroad T1 was originally built as an I-10 2-8-0 consolidation by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and then rebuilt by the Reading shops as a 4-8-4 Northern class locomotive in 1945. The steam engine plies its mostly home rails on its way from Reading Outer Station to Jim Thorpe, PA, along the way the train passes through the towns of Port Clinton, Tamaqua, Nesquehoning, and New Ringold, among others. Enjoy the sights and sounds of one of the best steam shows in the Northeast!
