While not something that is often spoken about, vaginal discharge changes are a common problem which affects many women during menopause. So this week I thought I would shed a little light on this intimate problem, including what is normal and what isn’t when it comes to the colour, consistency, volume and smell.

Great video I was reading about woman using estriol vaginal cream as estriol is the non cancerous estrogen that can repair vaginal dryness and provide needed estrogen for the brain. Also as there is phase 1 and 2 circulation, in other words if you take a supplement by mouth it must go through the liver first and create metabolites that may be harmful it you use cream on the vagina it goes into the blood stream 1st and lastly is directed out by the liver. And that you can use calcium d glucarate as a phase 3 to eliminate excess estrogen from recirculating in the body

I've been having vaginal odor and discharge for months. Had a pap smear, they see discharge but it's not an infection they ran tests. I've been putting off HRT, I'm going to start tomorrow I've also been having hot flashes. And I have boric acid suppositories I'm going to try. I'm very uncomfortable and self conscious about the odor, and so far nothing has helped.

I had a womb scrape due to very heavy periods. Also a manira coil was put in. Now I have a constant heavy discharge but it's normal consistency n no smell etc. No sexual partner in over 5 years. I used to produce a lot less before op. No sign of infection/itching etc.
