Actually The Singer Show is nothing like the talent shows we are used to in the "west" - it is for famous, established singers, some for decades already - and on invitation only, which already is considered a honor. Dimash was invited as a wild card as he was completely unknown to the Chinese audience and at 22 years old the youngest ever to participate. This was his first song on The Singer and it made him a superstar in China practically overnight. What you see here is a stunning talent and at that point already nearly 20 years of classic training as he started at age 5. Five years ago I replayed the video at least 10 times to wrap my head around the fact its real and spend the next 2 hours frantically searching for anything else from him (desperately little at the time as the show was still running) and never stopped searching since then. He is not only a incredible singer, instrumentalist and composer - as you already noticed he is an incredible humble, kind, respectful young man who managed to create an absolutely unique fandom from all around the world from teenagers to people up to their 90s.

You just bought a one-way ticket for the biggest vocal roller coaster ride in your life. You even can't imagine what is capable to do Dimash with his voice. He is simpe the greatest. The one and only on the planet. He is making some pretty 'extreme' music and breaking Music impossibility and all rules with his unbelievable vocal techniques and his more than 6 octaves. He sings whatever he wants in the way he wants to. And he always slays. We are all victims of Dimash. We are enchanted. We are all trapped in his incredible voice and charisma. It's as if we are prisoners with a door open, but no one wants to go out. Enjoy and let us enjoy with you.

Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Qudaibergen (born 24 May, 1994), known professionally as Dimash Qudaibergen, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. Dimash also has Master's degree in composition and began doctoral studies in musicology in 2020. Qudaibergen sings in multiple musical genres. His main genre is classical crossover, but he also sings classical music,  pop,  folk  and world music. He uses musical elements and vocal styles and techniques of many other genres, including jazz, rock,  RnB and rap. He has performed songs in twelve languages, plays seven instruments: piano, keyboards, dombra, drums, guitar, marimba and bayan. He speaks Kazakh and Russian, and is studying English and Mandarin. He rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's "Singer 2017" finishing second overall. Dimash has fan clubs in more than 150 countries. Thank you, I enjoyed your reaction and thoughts. I heard Dimash first time with this performance too. I knew instantly that he was something special. Later when I heard him more and came to know his great personality, I became a Dear. After 3 years of listening him daily, I feel even more intensive emotions than when I started. He doesn't cease to surprise or shock me. He keeps learning and improving all the time. Fame and success haven't changed who he is - sincere, kind and humble. We Dimash's fans love him for what kind of person he is, not only for his incredible voice and skills. Still haven't found exact words for him or what I feel... I think that Dimash can't be fully described, he can only be felt. (Ok, I feel the need to find some words still:):)

Dimash is from Kazakhstan. Like most Kazaks, he is Eurasian. Tall at 6'3" he towers above his family. He began his formal classical vocal training at age 5 and continued until age 25, but still has training sessions from time to time. He was age 22 in this video and is now age 27. You will find him doing opera, pop, Michael Jackson songs, folk songs from his country of which he is a true patriot. He is now nearing or has possibly reached 7 octaves or vocal range. He is a multi-instrumentalist playing such instruments as piano, Dombra, guitar, drums....His performances will cause shock and awe. He loves his fans whom he calls His Dears. He is highly athletic as a swimmer, horseback rider, soccer, tennis He is also very philanthropic but will not discuss it. (news leaks out though). His mother was the principle soprano for the Kazak Opera and his father is a pop singer and producer and is ow the manager of Dimash. He has a Masters in music composition and is planning on doing his doctoral work soon. He is kind, loves babies and children which you will often see him cradling in his arms and comforting when they cry. He is very family oriented. I hope you continue to react to more of his music.

I love to see people’s first reaction to our wonderful Dimash. You remarked on his humility, which he still has. He is now 27 yrs old, and has matured as a performer. I am still affected by his voice and his passion after 3 years, since discovering him. My personal favourites of his performances are, the dramatic Ogni Pietra, the emotional Daybreak and the funky Give Me Your Love, which is a tribute to Michael Jackson, he can even moonwalk! But SOS, on The Singer, will always be my absolute favourite, this is the song I saw which brought Dimash into my life. There are so many amazing performances, in reality they are all favourites. Dimash has changed my life, and I believe he has changed the lives of all his Dears 💙 xx

Yes, I remember the first time I heard this artist four years ago, and it was this same "SOS" video. Since then, not one day has gone by without Dimash's music in it. Yes, I still get the same feelings, even after watching this performance literally thousands of times. Part of the joy of youtube reactors is seeing others who react similarly to the way we did the first time. I noticed your hands begin trembling at 5:28, and think, "Yes, it was like this for me". It's that sudden physical realization that you're hearing something so incredibly beautiful that it can't possibly exist...yet there it is in front of you. I hope you'll do more reactions to Dimash.

he has male, female, bird, dog, dolphin, electric guitar, violin, flute, auto tuned, alien voice so that's was an easy things for him... by the way he is from Area51👍😀
