    1. You only need the AI broken by getting a guard to hit them, and throw a sphere at their back, if your sphere isnt a back bonus, you get nothing and have to reattempt it 2. Tower bosses dont have any respawn timer 3. Hoo-crates, Like Socrates the philosopher but an owl noise, it pretty much references "a certain philosopher" in his paldeck entry XD

    The boss capture bug is nothing to do with respawning btw. Its just throwing a ball at a boss after it's been hit shot by a guard, which breaks the ai. (Also bosses dont take any time to respawn, you can just keep doing them). The reason they respawn is to get out of the room, since it doesnt count as beating the boss, you would be stuck in there for the full timer otherwise. (Also, i dont believe any pals stats change when caught at all, alpha legendaries also keep their boosted hp stat being around 3x the normal for their species, and the reason a lot of other world alphas have 2-5k hp is theyre just high level. They still have that hp when caught, they just scale their level down to you, so their hp is lowered until you reach the same level as them)

    Respawning does not matter for the capture bug, they just do that to leave the boss early

    2:33 never seen anyone get pissed on cam that the goated quesarita was removed from the menu. Maybe IRL offline/off-stream (no employee is ever even paid enough to be given two black eyes & a broken collarbone bc of a menu item, there's 0 excuses), but not ON-cam or ON-stream. Until moop came along.

    Hi, I am the person who came up with the routing used for Zoe%, during the time this video was created, and is still currently used for it. Some things about the routing: Early runs didnt use the guards at all, I believe when I started running the WR was around 15 minutes. I began using the guards which cut it down to a 5:40. Early on in routing I started figuring out the differences between the guard spawn categories. At Assault 1 they spawn as low level with pistols that dont do much damage, at 2-5 they spawn at a higher level with assault rifles, at 6-9 they spawn with assault rifles still, but at a higher level, and then at wanted 10 they spawn at very high level with shotguns. I did a ton of routing and testing to figure out which Wanted level provided the fastest kill for the amount of set up time required. Once I realized how quickly the shotgun guards at Wanted 10 killed Zoe, I then decided to figure out how to route that into the run itself. The WR around this time was about 5 minutes. I originally thought it was just going to be a meme, until there were 2 major discoveries. The first was Discovered by I believe Lia from the speedrun discord, who said that the guards refused to shoot her when she wasnt looking at them. We decided to do some testing and confirmed that guards in fact did not attack you if they were not in your field of view. The second discovery was made by myself on how to manipulate the guard spawn location. I discovered that guards will always try to spawn in your field of view, so by narrowing whats in your field of view by running up to a cliff face or wall, all of the guards would spawn in a clump right next to you, allowing you to swing one or two times and get from wanted 3, which would be acquired from hitting the 2nd npc by the destroyed church, to wanted 10. Once I factored all of this into the routing I was able to get my own current PB of a 3:29, with pretty rough movement, and "retired" from running myself to focus on routing. Once the other runners got crazy good at movement they got it down to the 2:44 currently held by okia who helped with a lot of the testing for my routing throughout the process.

    you don't know how the glitches work, the guards being there doesn't overload the AI, its the fact the boss is being aggravated by the guards to break it, respawning also isn't part of the capture glitch, its hitting the back in that same broken state. if you were to hit the boss in this state it would become aggravated at you again and would stop the glitch.
