Possibly the most appropriate choice of music in youtube history.

I work 3 years as tugboat captain, and this is the best thing i have ever seen

Seems that was one captain who really new his ship and the conditions. Knew how quickly he could get into position, knew he could fit into that space, knew he had the power to move the big ship, and do so quickly enough to avoid the collision, knew the effects of the wind and current, etc. Fail any one of those factors and he's part of the crash.

Does the music justice, and that's saying a lot. No ordinary man, behind that helm....
  • Years and years of doing the job and you end up a pro.... I value skills like these over throwing or hitting a ball..........

Badass tug crew! Earned their keep that night. Well done
  • I always thought the tires were just to keep the boats from bumping and damaging, now I see why the added traction is important, without the tires for grip the boat would just glance off the smooth metal on metal simply wouldn’t work. Very cool.

This is the absolute opposite to a tug captain I encountered many years ago. While docking in Nassau, instead of coming alongside gently, the tug rammed us, missing the clearly marked tug spot by several feet and putting a 3-foot dent in the side of the ship. There are good and bad extremes in every profession. Anyway, I got a ride on the tug with our staff-captain to photograph the damage.

Tugs are proof of that "Big things come in small packages" saying, small but insanely powerful

I thought they are normal sized ships until I looked at the van parked.
