On June 6, 2024, the Indian Football Legend Sunil Chhetri played his final game for the national team. The match, against Kuwait, ended in 0:0 draw. After the match, he walked through the field and was given a guard of honour by the national team players and staffs on his way out of the field to the tunnel.
