The funny part is that there is a video I watched by "Literary Who" that discusses why Batman with prep time is flawed. Long story short - there are several characters Batman has prepped for in his own verse that have beaten him.

The oda section is actually a really interesting point. It boils down to a misunderstanding of a world building concept actually, that being Architect vs. Gardner. To briefly explain these concepts: Architect - a writer who carefully plans out their world and story, creating highly developed worlds with which to tell their story within. A popular example being Tolkien’s LotR. Gardner - an author that develops their world gradually as needed, allowing it to develop more naturally over the course of the story, planting seeds and developing them. A popular example for this would be… well… One Piece. Many assume Oda is only an architect but that’s not true for any author, did he have a rough skeleton planned out? Yes definitely, does he have an ending figured out? Yeah, of course. However that doesn’t mean every single minute detail and nuance was established from the jump, Oda actually leans more to the Gardner side of things. He’s consistently establishing new details of the world and developing them as he goes, constructing new characters and narratives and finding ways to make them work. All in all, many seem to believe that Oda is a pure Architect when that’s just not true, like every good author he’s capable of both and uses them as necessary. Writing isn’t an RPG, these aren’t absolute classes but rather methodologies that each have their own merits and utilities. Oda uses both when and where necessary like many other skilled writers, it’s true that he’s an amazingly talented writer and world-builder but he’s not omniscient, it wasn’t all apart of his plan from the start.

I hate batman fans specifically the prep time excuse because that's like giving someone a head start. nah if your gonna give Batman prep time give the other guy prep time as well, they're also admitting that Batman can't beat some of the other characters on sight considering he has lost to multiple characters. Not only that but i dislike that Batman is always going up against Gods and entities like darkseid. It doesn't help that DC give him insane plot armor

The funny thing about Luffy is how everyone lies about his feats. "He made glasses out of thin air", you can literally see him transform parts of his hair into the glasses, that's transfiguration. "He can make ANYTHING happen", when, when has he done this? Everything he's ever done can be explained by him flying or turning things into rubber.
