  • My Dad sang this song to me when I was younger because my nickname was Beth and now I want to cry 😭πŸ”₯πŸŽΆβ€πŸ’‹

As a teenager I heard this song on the radio and decided to attend a live Kiss concert in New Orleans. I had not heard any of the group's other songs nor had I seen their photo. It was a grand surprise when, we were seated near the giant speakers and the flames. What an experience. Named my second child Beth.

It's really a tragedy that most young people today will never experience the sound, beauty and raw emotion of a true ballad that was written from the heart. Most people under 40 never listen to music with actual instruments and singers without autotune, but this song will stand the test of time for any genre, despite being written by a hard rock band. I loved this song since it first came out, I wasn't even 10 years old.
  • Class of '77 kid here. I dated a girl named Beth back in those days. A friend called me decades later to tell me she passed away. She was barely 37. Im 65 today and I can still see her face as clear as a cool mountain stream. 😒 It's hard to make sense of life sometimes, but I'm so glad I have good memories. πŸ«‚β€οΈ
  • In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful songs in Rock History!!! And Peter Criss's voice has the PERFECT timber for it!!!! I loved it then and I love it now! Just PERFECT!!! πŸ‘

  • Beth is one of the most beautiful songs that was ever written. It’s a beautiful love song that any woman named Beth would love to hear. ❀

This has got to be one of the best songs ever written by a drummer.

My first wife was Elizabeth, would be our 35th wedding anniversary tomorrow, I hope you're living your best life, Betsy!! xoxox

A song of the person married to someone whose work keeps them apart more than they'd like to be, and the singer praising the significant other for their patience. Not merely the song of a musician's life, but of the lives of many of us.
  • I danced in the rain with my daughter right when the show was called for thunder in LA. She was 4 and this was my hold out song. We were alone in the courtyard due to rain. It will be a favorite memory forever ❀
  • 1977: A surprise ballad, and a surprise hit. Every girl named Beth, it seems, called the radio station, asking me to play this one. An honest song about the musician's life.
  • @dwayneard5997
My wife's favorite KISS song.... I always play it when she's mad me....Like ....Now !! 😁🎸😎❀️
  • Beth, I hear you calling But I can't come home right now Me and the boys are playing And we just can't find the sound Just a few more hours And I'll be right home to you I think I hear them calling Oh, Beth, what can I do? Beth, what can I do? You say you feel so empty That our house just ain't a home That I'm always somewhere else And you're always there alone Just a few more hours And I'll be right home to you I think I hear them calling Oh, Beth, what can I do? Beth, what can I do? Beth, I know you're lonely And I hope you'll be alright 'Cause me and the boys will be playing All night...
  • Every time I hear this song it take's me back to when I was a 15 year old girl, I'm 57, lol.

I never forgot when this song first came out. I was in the kitchen listening to the song on the radio and my Mom came in and said, "This is a nice song. Who is it?" I answered, "Kiss.". The look of shock on her face was hilarious.

It is the end of 7/2024, who else is here, so glad I got to see them 13 times, never a bad show.
