American service members are quitting the military in protest of the US government's role in the Gaza genocide. Dozens of troops have filed for Conscientious Objector status since October 7, citing the US-Israeli genocidal war as the turning point. Mike Prysner, war veteran, host of Eyes Left Podcast, and producer for The Empire Files, explains the growing dissent over Gaza among active duty personnel and veterans alike.

A victory over Zionism is a victory for humanity.

I'm a veteran... left the military in August 8th 2001. Only 4 weeks before 911. Very lucky. I'm Muslim, and after Friday prayers we would discuss how difficult it was to be Muslims In the military when virtually all our wars are directed toward Muslims. It influenced me to not renew my contract. That decision was the greatest luckiest move in my life. Thank God

Its what I find more disgusting. Being told to support another state's genocide plot that the US government is full-throatily backing. I applaud the veteran protest.
  • I thought the Naz!s no longer existed until I realized that they are rebranding themselves as the NAtional Zlonism of Israel.

I agree, Navy veteran here. Although I did not quit over Gaza; I turns my stomach to see the US military involved in this GENOCIDE and it devoids our military service of any honor or respectability
  • As a British veteran, l am appalled to see my corrupt government for what it really is,!!!

Every BLK American soldier must be educated about Israeli support for apartheid South Africa and sterilization of Ethiopian Jews.

22000 Gazans children were brutality murdered by western bombs.

My name is Aaron Bushnell and I am an active duty member in the US Airforce. I am to enage in an extreme act of protest. But compared to what the people in Gaza have been suffering at the hands of their colonizers, it's not extreme at all. FREE PALESTINE! FREE PALESTINE! FREE PALESTINE!
  • US service members did not swear an oath to defend Israel. We all see where this is headed and not one US service member should be forced to step foot into this conflict.

Aaron Bushnell would have been 26 years old today. Rest in Peace

Here in Germany, the wikipedia site for Aaron bushnell gets deleted. The censorship here is insane and scary as hell

Furthermore, months after getting out, I saw numerous close military colleagues in local news reported killed in helicopter crashes, gorilla ambushes, and IED's.
  • These conscious objecters may be the saving grace of America. These soldiers are aware how deep America is involved in the genocide in Gaza.
  • The likes of Aaron Bushnell, Sir Mike Prysner, Code Pink, University Students who camped in School Campuses and many more are the Americans that make USA a Great Country just like before. Thank you very much Sir Mike and to rest of your company.
