Joan is, by definition, a bad ass rocker. She never sold out; she didn't become a douche bag /A-hole; she treats her fans great, and she is still above all just a decent human being. That's very rare nowadays. What I liked the most about her shows is that she interacts and talks to the crowd as if they've been her friends for decades, and she knows each of them personally. I'll buy tickets to every Joan Jett show that comes through until the day I die.

The fact that (40 years ago) she did not change the lyric and sings about a girl shows how fearless she is. And still one of the best female guitarists--Rock it forever, JJ!

This version got me through 3 brain surgerys 5 years ago and now during my current radiotherapy. Music is a great drug (and pot of course)

god dayumm Joan Jett is a freaking treasure and pioneer!! not just of women rockers but of an entire era in humanity. its not that the band itself isnt good, its just that Joan Jett is TOO good. without her who knows if we would have gotten as many women in rock and metal as we do now! ❤🤘
