The real perfect paradox is Bungie currently fumbling the smash success of Final Shape.

Trench and OTP shoulda been in seprate slots, with Cast no Shadows plus the artifact mod, that punchy shooty fantasy woulda been amazing.

I managed to snag a double perk’d one with dual loader and threat detector in the left column and trench barrel with 1-2 punch in the right. It has quickly become “fuck this enemy in particular” gun on my Titan

The curated version is one of the best shotguns Bungie has ever made for pve hands down. It feels like a return of pinnacle weapons tbh

It’s annoying that you can’t hold 9 shots even with backup mag because enhanced dual loader lets you load 3 shots at a time instead of 2. Going from 2/4/6/8 to 3/6/9 would’ve been perfect.

Gotta say I’m only slightly disappointed that it can’t roll one two punch and trench barrel at once but that would probably break the weapon

Perfect paradox does drop from enigma protocol and it can indeed get double perks. Not lying. The one I got had an option of dual loader/pugilist and trench barrel/opening shot

I somehow landed pugilist/one-two and slideshot/opening shot on my first two random drops. I used all my rng for the rest of the year.

Currently hunting the double roll of pugilist field prep and 1-2 punch trench. Field Prep 1-2 for maximized high damaged punching. Pugilist Trench for fun slaying out and just dealing some shotgun damage. The origin Trait really makes this gun and breach light specifically. Both are stellar for melee and in the fray type builds.

Still wish they brought back Steelfeather Repeater as well. Loved that thing.

I do enjoy threat remover and trench barrel. Both require all pellets in the shot to hit so imo they work well together

I like field prep trench on song of flame warlock. If you DONT put on the overflow seasonal augment. You get a full free 8 rounds per snap. With dawn chorus you get a snap back every 3 shots. It's nutty. Actually does insane dmg
