@8:24 thank you for sharing this story akash. Not an easy one for a man to share, how dv triggers young kids and the residual effects it has on them and their relationships as they age. Either repeating those same patterns or becoming someone who is adamantly against abuse and believes women when they speak up about their abuse. I’m sure other men who witnessed and experienced similar things will feel seen when they hear how this personally effected you and probably still does. And thank you Charlemagne for asking and offering a safe space for Akaash to share his experiences without making fun of him.
