And so, to them, the stormtrooper armor is actually completely covered in a big blast of different colors and is perfectly camouflaged, but, to a human, you could pick them out of a crowd 1 million strong with no problem. And the reason this wasn't fixed by the Empire is because the white and black of the imperial stormtroopers was actually found to be very intimidating. Now, if you want the ACTUAL reason why the armor is completely white, it's because the armour was made irl with a type of (?plastic?) material that is notorious for being hard to paint, and it took a really long time to make all the armor and they didn't want to have to make it all again.

Fun fact: in the first three og starwars films like a new hope, empire strikes back, and the return of the Jedi the storm trooper are always holding there e-11s on their left hand no wonder most stormtroopers have bad aim. They all are mostly left handed due to the prop being only used in their left hands. Oh, and the stormtroopers are using the wrong gun lol. Stormtrooper armour might be more effective than you'd think. It might not seem to be very good in the movies, but just look at combat armour nowadays. Against muskets it would be overpowered, but against modern weaponry it might save you from a few rifle shots. Now think about how well stormtrooper armour will work, armour from a space-fairing society where it's normal to have some sort of space transport, against modern, or in this case, medieval weaponry.
