Listening to Laura's father tell about his father and how they observed Sunday made me so grateful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Prior to the coming of Jesus Christ and His Death and Resurrection; we were bound and condemned by the Law. Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law and be the pure sacrifice once and all for the atonement of sins for ALL mankind. Can you imagine being bound by a Law (that God did not ordain) where a child has to sit without moving for two hours listening to a sermon/lecture where they can not possibly sit still, much less understand a sermon! Can you imagine being bound by a law (that God did not ordain) that says you can not smile on Sunday?? Yes... we are supposed to observe Sunday and keep it Sunday; in joyful worship of God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, and peaceful fellowship with each other. We are made righteous to God, not by struggling to keep laws but by acknowledging and accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts. ❤️🙏👏🙌
