I had the opportunity to meet Hal Needham(Director and Writer of Smokey and the Bandit). Needham told me that 85 to 90% of Jackie Gleason's dialogue in the movie was Ad Lib. He said they never knew from one minute to the next what was going to come out of his mouth and it was always hysterical. A True Comedy Genius.

You know it's a great movie when 4 generations can watch it together and laugh everytime. RIP Burt, Jackie, and Jerry. Buford can finally kick bandit's ass around the moon lol.

I love the Diner Scene where The Bandit is calmly messing with Buford and Buford doesn’t even know they guy he’s talking to is the guy he’s chasing. It’s honestly my favorite scene in the movie.

The entire scene where the auto transport driver takes off the car door. Justice’s rant is absolutely hilarious! Followed by his reaction to Jr. holding “the evidence “ in his lap… “There is no way…no waay…” 😆😆🙂
