BUILD ORDER : 17 ASSIMILATOR 18 probe to gas 19 probe to minerals (right after this pull a probe from minerals to scout your natural at 1:09 / 1:10 and this probe builds the Core at 1:24) 20 Nexus + Core (Core NEEDS to go down at 1:24 max otherwise you're doing something wrong) 20 probe to gas 21 ASSIMILATOR 21 probe to gas 2 adepts then Twilight +1 more gate (2) Blink + Robo + 3rd gate (3rd gate starts building when WARP GATE 75% completed) At 38 supply add 2 extra pylons (one in your main covering the edge for drops and 1 at your 3rd covering that path as well) 3rd NEXUS before proxy warpin (8 total stalks) or right after it (game dependent). TRANSITION : - Forge (if you're going for the colosus first transition get +1 attack, if u go for charge first go +1 armor) - Charge - +5 extra gates (Total 8) - 3 Colosus (you can either go colosus first then charge or charge first with immortals instead of colosus as needed). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES: - 2 adepts BEFORE Twilight (These adepts are important for both scouting with shade and covering potential rushes from terran like a 3 Rax). 4.30 Prism comes out and there's already 5 stalkers. (will be 8 with the proxy warpin of 3 more stalkers) - DO NOT build an obserber after prism as you need the gas for the 3 extra stalker warpin. Instead get it after your blink stalker attack / harrass is finished to scout their transition.

I don't play starcraft (I haven't since wings of liberty in college) but I watch it sometimes and recently found your channel. I just wanted to say all the content you make is really stellar. Really crisp funny casting, excellent guides and educational content for all levels of play, and funny cheese and self-imposed difficulty challenges. I enjoy what you do a lot!

Been awhile since I've watched a build order video, but from my memory this one stands above the rest. You go over different scenarios and the subtle changes in each one - which is a step I rarely see.

✏ first marine finishes at 1:46, the reaper at 2:00. CC goes down at ~1:40 Chrono the 1st adept, and start the warp gate at the same time Chrono on the 2nd adept,. The 1st one is sent across the map Twilight council after the 2nd adept (when gas allows it). 2nd gate right after that. Don't chrono workers. Start blink and chrono it. Robo, and then 3rd gate. 3rd gate goes at ~76/100 of the Cybernetics core. ---- 2 adepts -> Twilight council + 2nd gate. -> Blink -> Robo + 3rd gate

Would love to see guides for pvp and pvz! My builds have gotten a bit stale over the past year. I know at my level (D2 NA) the build doesn't "matter" compared to just macroing, but it still feels motivating and fun to try to perfect a meta build.

I realized I was almost always putting down my cyber past the 1:24 mark. No wonder reapers got into my base before I got my first adept ! These benchmarks are so useful ! I was doing all sorts of bad things missing timings on my gates , etc. Now I think I understand how high level players get so many stalkers early on. The tip on the warp gate research % to place the 3rd gate super useful as well. Thanks a ton Harstem !! You're the best ! <3
