Honey Bees Swarm Local Ford Dealership and I got the call to catch them. Welcome back to another episode of Honey Bee fun with Yappy Beeman,
So, a friend calls me From Ronnie Watkins Ford in Gadsden, Alabama and says they have a large mess of bees that showed up at the local Ford dealership. I was literally 5 minutes away and rushed over. The only problem was I didn't have a bee hive box ready in the truck to put them in. So a little improv and the rest just fell into place.
The Boxwood shrub they landed in made for a little bit more difficulty in catching the swarm of bees but we worked through that and got them to the box for relocation to a bee yard away from the city.
I was excited to have been able to catch and show the queen bee in this episode. Queen bees are a bit bigger and longer in body, as well as a little different in color. Without a queen, the hive can not reproduce and will surely die.
Thanks to all for checking out this video and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we had fun removing the bees safely for the customer.

I wish they’d been on a new truck. You could have driven them home with you. 😉

Maaaaaan, every time you go to “see what mood they’re in” my whole body draws up.

Imagine feeling an earthquake then all of a sudden your house appears

“Look at how chill they are. Everyone is hanging out.” Says guy who is surrounded by bees. Love these vids.
  • “Let’s see what kind of mood they’re in.” sticks hand all the way in the bush
  • something about a man casually vlogging while 10,000 bees fly around him is hilarious

Still amazes me, seeing someone scoop a big handful of bees, bare-handed. I was an 80s kid, and we were all raised to fear bees back then. I’m getting a lot better, but watching people like Yappy who are so confident handling them will no bee suit and veil and gloves still floors me a little.

This man just cured my phobia from bees and hornets ,now i also love bees and wanna have them 😂 Much love for you buddy

I LOVE seeing them swarm in slow motion. I’m allergic so when I see a swarm I call a Beeman and head inside. Watching them fly in slow motion felt like watching the most complex 3 dimensional dance. Truly beautiful, and startlingly organized.
  • This dude's got some brass balls to be doing this without a bee suit

Last time I handled a bee it was a few weeks back and I rescued it from a swimming pool as I was swimming along. It shook its wings off then flew around my head, landed on my shoulder, and stung me! Now I'm watching you grab a handful and basically nothing! What a world 🤣

This guy is unbelievable. He has changed my perspective and knowledge of bees by leaps and bounds. I have watched some of his other video's in the past week or so and yesterday, I was mowing my lawn and was mowing around a Rose of Sharon bush in full bloom with dozens of bees happily going in and out of the blossoms and even though I was right next to them they weren't bothered by my presence one bit. It was amazing. Very educational videos to say the least. What amazing little creatures they are.

This guy is hardcore but I gotta hand to the cameraman for being right there with him in a swarm of bees
  • What puzzles me is why ANYONE would want to sit watching the shit that's on TV nowadays when you can randomly click onto material like this... real suff.... interesting... watching someone with passion and ability in his own field. I've NO interest in beekeeping, but this guy gets it all to you. Great stuff.

This is amazing, this is proof that bees won't hurt you if you don't hurt them.
  • @ChaloopaJoe
Im sitting here at 12am watching videos about bees and i have no idea why 😂. Wonderful content, love how passionate you are about the bees!

8:41 -- Absolute miracle that you were able to find the queen amid that chaos.
  • @jameshoots7790
Find the queen… find the slightly larger needle in a moving needle stack.
  • I really love that this southern good ol' boy is driving around with a box labeled "Queen Stuff" in his truck
  • @teampenit
I was happy to hear that the queen doesn't live forever in that tiny cage!
