  • Yes, I would like to learn how to set up an irrigation system and learn how to care for all berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries).
  • Finally! A raspberry video that actually helped me. Thank you! It’s my first year planting
  • @juliejones7767
Yes… more videos about raspberries!! This video has been such a big help, and I look forward to more (caring for them, irrigation, trellising, etc). You are very knowledgeable!
  • @marthabader77
This video was clear, concise and thorough. I"m a new home yard gardener; I'm subscribing and look forward to learning from you!
  • @anjaseidl4003
I have them in a soil with other plants nearby, flowers, trees. They grow nicely, slowly. Yes, fixing them is good. They are heavy. I am happy with a small harvest.

Just came across your channel today, good stuff. I'm starting a strawberry and raspberry patch this weekend. Your advice and videos are great

I just bought 2 varieties of plants about 1' tall from Home Depot. This is my first time growing these !

I'm planting my first raspberry plants this year. They are transplants from a coworker. Your videos are so helpful. I'd love to see how you set up your irrigation system.

Another great vid! Thanks so much for sharing. I'd love to hear more about how you design and set up your irrigation system. I'm in Ky, Zone 6 and have had success with early brambles but the fall fruits develop drosophila flies. Not only do the flies get into the berries but if I bring the berries into the house I have flies in the house, too. Yuk. You are so right - if you plant 3 plants this year, you'll have a whole row in 3 years with plenty of suckers to share with neighbors.
  • @joelfsilverman
That was awesome and very informative! I’ve made a few tutorial videos and I bet this one was a lot of work. Thank you!
  • @jclout8028
Excellent advice! Planted 3 FallRed everbearing raspberry plants 4 years ago, and now have a full 10’ row of luscious red raspberry plants. The roots are so prolific!! I have to sever roots with a shovel around the perimeter of the bed every year because the roots are so invasive—I found them creeping 6 feet from the bed one year! Just planted yellow Anne everbearing raspberry last year, and what a flavor difference! I don’t know where these have been all my life. Raspberries have been our favorite addition to the garden. Both have small thorns however, but are no problem (and no bleeding) with garden gloves. Picking raspberries doesn’t require gloves because berries aren’t near the heavier thorns on the thicker stems. Gloves are needed when trimming the older stems that have already fruited.

A caring for raspberries video would be very helpful. Thank you!
  • @HARVEYDOWD20
Very well done. Thank You. I live in Northern Ontario. They grow wild in the bush , I'll transplant some in a couple of weeks. Still a bit of snow this week.

How deep did you dig the hole for the posts? Did you buy the tea trellis already put together? What did you use to dig the hole? Did you put any concrete in the base?
  • @1DIZZASTER
Good lord that highway noise 😖 I wish you were here on my farm . Pure peace and quiet . 😊
  • @MelissaMc
I have 5 raspberry and 5 blackberry plants coming in 2 weeks. I went with the Polana and Chester varieties. This is one of my first ventures in gardening and I can't wait to see how it goes. My 3 in 1 pH reader is coming today, which will help me choose exactly where I want to plant them and what amendments I need to make to the soil. I cannot wait to harvest these berries from my yard with my sons. Thank you for the tips! I would love to see videos about composting - how to do it, when to buy it instead.
