In my opinion, the 11th gen civic is one of the best looking civics ever made. Especially since the late 90s this civic just looks so much more civic
  • I've been waiting for this one! Honda nailed this generation as a whole. Thanks for another informative and entertaining vid Tedward šŸ¤“

Nobody wants an EV to sit for hours to charge a car - not everyone has a house. This is the best compromise - Hybrid, good mpg and fun to drive. Very exciting. Between this new 2025 Civic and the new 2025 Camry.

The Civic is once again here showing why it's THE KING of the daily driver, hybrid, awesome fuel economy, confortable, reliable, very practical, refined, full of quality, it's just the best. The Mazda 3 has been my favorite daily car ever since 2019, but with this hybrid variant, I think the Civic came back to being my favorite.

Thanks for standing out in the rain for us! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these and compare it to my '24 Touring. Just viewing your video, the initial torque is definitely there, but it doesn't seem to be any faster than the outgoing 1.5T past 30 MPH or so (not that it's a bad thing, they're quick as is). Curious to see if the road noise is any better than my '24 Touring too, they're pretty loud on the highway. Hopefully they've addressed some of the interior rattles too. The materials are top notch, but lots of us 11th gen owners are dealing with rattles. Great video as always!

Believe it or not some people donā€™t want all the bells and whistles. They just want the old-school dependable $20K Civic back.
  • 11:35... Android is Google... And every iPhone user has something Google on their phone. This is a genius move by Honda

Off of your review, I bought a Civic Si. Tune, downpipe, full exhaust, intake. What a superb, fun daily driver. It might be the best bang for buck performance car. I do think this hybrid is the choice if you're not interested in an involved driving experience.
  • I've owned this car (well more or less this car) since March of this year. The e-HEV, as it's called here, is the only option we have in Europe since 2022. My previous car was a Volvo XC40 and I wanted something a little more "fun", cheaper to run, but just as practical for our small family. Let me tell you, Tedward is 100% correct that this is the perfect city car. It's so easy to drive, so quiet and stress free. It gives you power when you need it (although the e-HEV version is slightly less powerful at 184BHP), but the torque just allows you to pretty much get in front of anyone at red lights (bar maybe Teslas and other high-end electric cars) . Fuel economy is as good as Honda says it is. My only pet peeve with this car are the safety features which are tuned a bit too much "on the safe" side to my taste. I'll get beeping if I'm doing 51 in a 50... which is annoying. Lane assist is also annoying, especially in Europe where we have quite a few bike lines, it sometimes pushes you back into the middle of the road if you straddle onto one (some of our smaller two way streets only allow for 2 cars to pass if they go into the bike lanes)... so a couple of times it was a little dangerous. Hopefully they change that in the next software update as it's a common complaint over here.

I am seriously impressed with this

It was nice seeing you drive around my hometown in a beautiful car that one doesn't mind aspiring to. Cheers
  • @Edyth_Hedd
Those are the nicest Honda wheels I've seen in a long time.
  • I got the Corolla hybrid a couple years ago and absolutely love it.. this has more power and gets a little better mpg. I hope they keep this up because this will probably be the next car i get. once you go hybrid it's impossible to go back. the fuel economy is do nice
  • @NBPT428
You are The Man...I loved the screeching sounds coming out of the exit with what looked like a police cruiser in the foreground. They didn't put the 1.5 hybrid system in to chase MPG's. I'm psyched to test drive it and possibly buy one. This could be the farewell for my TSX wagon.šŸ‘
