@4:01 that's the real Gangster; comes out of water with a cigarette in his mouth
  • @jj80251
Mad respect to the guy who swam over to help out, with a lit cig in his mouth.

The fact these men aren't just hunting for sport & hunting with equipment that makes the job easily. But with their bare hands, experience, & knowledge. Just to feed their families. All that work for $30 worth is insane. They don't take what mother earth or nature gives them for granted.

Narrator: Friend comes aboard to give him a hand. Friend swims twenty miles out to sea, gets out of the ocean with a lit cigarette in his mouth, pulls giant tiger shark on to boat, swims back to shore.. Wish I had a friend like that...
  • It's a damn shame that they caught and fought that beast for over 4 hours and only made $30 off of it is crazy
  • @tumetal
Thanks for bringing us into their world and not just commentating from the outside. Well done!

a half lyrics of old Indonesian traditional kids song. " My ancestors were sailors Loves to wade through the ocean Ride the waves without fear Going through storms is normal The wind blows the sails grow The waves crash on the beach Brave youth rise up now To the sea, we're all together" & the boat name is " pudjangga" which means Poet such a nostalgic.

I’d never jump in the water with a Tiger Shark, I’m sure other Tiger sharks 🦈 weren’t that far …respect to that dude that jumped in to tie the shark beast!

"How many times do they come home with nothing "best line of the video
  • That was a monster tiger shark! I kind of felt bad for it, being hooked in the eyes like that 😳 while it was still living. I’m glad it enabled these guys to feed their families, but damn, that takes a lotta balls!
  • @giancarlosp7
The guy swimming up to the boat with a lit cigarette is like "I done this a million times" 😂

O…..M…..G. Jumping into the water that you just caught a 5 METER SHARK IN = MEGA BIG BALLS 😮 It’s wildly impressive witnessing cultures hunt and catch their sustenance

I find it sad to see such a beautiful animal die like that, but I understand that people need to do what they can to feed themselves and their families. This was filmed and narrated really well and was extremely interesting to watch.

I understand their culture and need, but that magnificent creature losing it's life for a mere $30 is shameful. Edit: It has been almost a year, and my opinion STILL HAS NOT CHANGED. Disgraceful.
