I think Cassandra used Logan to kill Mutants and other heroes which us why he is hated. Not for killing mutants but those heroes like Captain America and Iron-Man which is why he is not welcomed anywhere.

Cassandra Nova is nothing more than a parasitic being, a "Mummudrai." Her existence like Amahl Farouk the "Shadow King", is to seek out those who's conscious minds step into, the Astral Plane. Cassandra may be clever, prophetically manipulative and, an extremely dangerous formidable adversary but, she is not unstoppable. Her Psychic abilities and Telekinetic powers still leave Cassandra vulnerable to physical attacks, if you can get close to her. But beware, shield yourself as Cassandra will possess your mind and, transfer her consciousness from person to person if her body is destroyed.
