I was a former Protestant, was baptized Catholic this past Easter. Praise the most high God.

My parents are Jehovah Witnesses, they don't let me go to church or attend communion. I have been ridiculed for my beliefs over and over, today I have made myself communion bread at home and served myself a small portion of wine when my parents were away from home. The Lord has blessed me today so I would be able to eat of his flesh and drink of his blood, I am only 14 and I am aware that the path ahead me is much more difficult, however I am not afraid, and I will continue to be in this church that the Holy Spirit has led me to. Update: I am now 15, almost 16, at the time I was a Presbyterian and now I am a Catholic, I have not received eucharist yet and I understand I am not able to consent the Eucharist, and I am glad about this. One doesn’t need to be Catholic to be touched by these beautiful songs. However, I’ve never been so moved by such spiritual music, until I began attending the Catholic Church and then converted. Praise God!

As a Protestant I was introduced to Catholic hymns and thought, Why can't "we" have hymns like that. Well that was about 20 or more years ago. Now after a round about journey, looks like I will be beginning RCIA. Then I can get all of this great music as much as I want

Our nuns in grade school used to tell us to sing out at Mass because when you sing, you pray twice! That has always stuck with me. 💕
