The video showcases the amazing life and journey of an ordinary girl growing up in Japan who turned into a multi talented artist and became a world renowned Ikebana master. She has received many awards throughout her life. Most notably among the highest of honors conferred by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan upon an individual, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, due to her dedication and achievements in promoting the culture of Japan around the world through the beautiful art of floral arrangement. Mrs. Fusako Seiga Hoyrup is not only a great Ikebana master, but also a wonderful painter and poet. She is the founder and president of the Wafu school of Ikebana California chapter with nearly 200 members. They celebrated their 50th anniversary with a flower show on March 4-5, 2023.

Brava! Such a fantastic production. The opening, watching Ms. Fusako creating an arrangement, with the overlay of nature scenes was mesmerizing, and the added music helped to create the perfect mood. Ms. Fusako is multitalented, and the in-depth questions allowed her to share her amazing life's journey, as well as her love of flowers and nature.

A beautiful show expertly executed. It's visually enchanting and technically flawless. The host gently drew out the modest ikebana master, who shared intimately parts of her life and incredible photos of a long life, well-lived. Excellent camera work and sound. Congratulations all around! Now, I want to learn ikebana!
