Give Us a Little Love is complete! This was a weekend MAP I highly suspected wouldn't complete within the deadline, but I love a challenge. These weekend maps can be fun little challenges both for artists and for me as a host, and I have so much fun trying to push myself to see what I can do, even if I'm not sure I can. I've done one 72 hour map before with 42 parts, and it went over deadline a little bit but not too much, so i was still pretty confident I could get it done, and I did, even if it took a wee bit extra time than usual! I'm so proud of this one, because of the inspiration and passion I saw not only from artists working on this map, but people inspired BY it to make their own Dark Forest cat backstories or adapt these! I love seeing inthe murder party parts all the different people whos ocs make cameos in their parts haha.

First, HUGE thank you to Owlipoppen for putting together the credits sequence and to Ghobsmacka for conceptualizing and storyboarding it- this is easily hands down the BEST credits sequence of ANY MAP I've hosted. It looks amazing!

Fun fact: SilverHawk was originally someones oc, but Kate liked their story and added them into the books after the person who had Silverhawk as an oc helped her make her website.

I really like Houndleap's backstory, he's both crazy and sensible. "Oh, so those are the bad guys? They did challenge the clan. So I'll just get rid of them so you." Just a heartless man that doesn't seem to realize that murder is bad.

ok but like the fact snowtuft's mentor gave him the scar Rly Hurts cuz its like, medicine cats are meant to do everything but use their knowledge to harm cats so snowtuft doing that must have destroyed his mentor's trust like no other to give him SUCH A BRUTAL WOUND, OOF this is canon, shredtail who?

Maggottail’s part made me go onto the verge of tears 😭 it was so SAD at the beginning! I'm specifically talking about Starvedgoat’s part. It was heartbreaking to watch and honestly it was put into an animal situation where “mommy doesn’t want baby because baby is messed up” and it makes me really sad :(((
