"My Soul Delighteth in the Covenants of the Lord" by Wendy W. Nelson | BYU Women's Conference, 2015

Published 2022-12-20
"It is my testimony, my dear sisters, that there is nothing more important than making covenants with God and then keeping them with increasing precision, because making covenants with God calls forth the divine within us. And keeping our covenants with God allows Him to pour His divine power into us."—Wendy Watson Nelson

  • Zion’s prophetess. To me she has always been a Church treasure. 💛🙏🏼

Sister Wendy is one woman who always seems to know what to say at times when women need to receive answers. I do believe she is inspired by the Lord Himself, to reach each and every soul that has ears to hear and eyes to see. What an immeasurable blessing this precious daughter of our Heavenly Father is to the world in this day and age... she is my top woman to listen to for answers to my own prayers right next to Sister Dew. They have both blessed me with answers that I feel only women can pass along to other women.

Sister Wendy Nelson is such a magnificent women . I of course am a male priesthood holder . But I will readily affirm that I would never think of missing a chance to hear her talk. I have a daughter at U V I . I know that she loves sister Nelson . It is important to me to know that my daughter hears such wise counsel.
  • This address has brought me to action. I have made two Temple appointments and followed a sudden prompt to invite a complete stranger to church, all the while pausing this video to do so.😊 Thank you, Wendy, for your special spirit.
  • When covenant women keep their covenants God provides them with His infinite power! We are so blessed!

  • This talk was the answer to my prayers this week. Thank you for reposting it. I have never heard it before.
  • I love this talk so very much! Wendy is amazing and I am grateful to be in a time in history where I can pull this talk up at a moments notice and have it infuse my soul with truth. I have listened to it over and over many times yet today I heard many things anew. My heart is filled!

This is an amazing talk and I can say absolutely that doing Family History and Temple work opens the doors of Heavenly help for us. Thank you sister Nelson!
  • I thank you so much, Sister Nelson. ❤You inspired me sharing beautiful messages working behind the scene lifting those who were lifted especially myself. Thank you so much for your holy service and missionary work. I knew there are a lot to just being listening to the prophet and apostles. When I got into the family history work byu online courses, last spring semester 2021 I knew it was something more. Thank you for being the hands of the Lord to uplift the hands of the feeble and a trumpet to the sleeping spirited children of God. I love missionary work and family history…the gap in between different countries that brings difficulties but the very scripture-“with God all things are possible” is my story at this time and place. Stay beautiful and healthy. Love you ❤!
  • Jesus is the light the way and the truth and the only way to the Father
  • I love this sweet Wendy, wide of our Beloved Prophet President Nelson. She definitely compliments his Holiness.
