Seeing how everyone’s automatically screwed when the song starts playing, Checker Knights is basically the Kirby equivalent of Giorno’s theme, and it’s amazing

Funny enough, Kirby Air Ride didn’t come out until after the anime was mostly finished, hence why Air-Ride in Style was near the end of the series in the original run. Checker Knights actually originated here in the anime.

Probably my favorite moment was the tornado sequence at the start. The part that plays when the transformation kicks in is so hype, and overall it just works so well with the whole sequence IMO. That said, all the times Kirby transforms with this music in the background is ALWAYS such hype, seriously.

Its a shame the Japanese dub got music from the games, while the 4kids dub mostly had its own music which, is fine enough, but still.
