Primos “Purple Haze” pot call

I have a friend who has one (he has a call addiction like me) and it sounded pretty good. I bought one for my goddaughter because her favorite color is purple. Man, it sounded like crap! I didn't give it to her. The other day I was going through some stuff and found it. The purple piece of the striker had fallen off of the stick. I put it on and it didn't sound good but I noticed that it wasn't fitting the stick tightly. I turned it a little and it tightened up. That made all the difference in the world. Now it sounds as good as the one in this video. I think it will call in some turkeys

Got a purple haze a few years back and it is always on the rig when i hit the woods.

Picked one up at Walmart on clearance sale after last years season for $4.00. Forgot I had it but will try this May in Western Pennsylvania.
