Developed by Arkane Studio and published by Bethesda Softworks, Redfall had one of the worst launches in recent memory. It was a launch so bad, it prompted an apology from head of Xbox Games, Matt Booty.

For Redfall glitches and bugs were not uncommon, and many players complained about lack of content. it's effectively a dead game today, and Redfall updates have been sparse, but is it still a bad experience?

    This was an Arkane game without the Arkane charm, give us more creative freedom to do things instead of some live service bull crap.

    80% of gamers are 18+ years old. Yet we still have these annoying handholding tutorials. i cant stand them in any game.

    Live service games didn't really start to boom until Fortnite came out. Now you have battle royales, battle/season passes, and just a crap ton of monetization for almost every f**king shooter. The worse part in all this is this crap is seeping into single player games too 🤮

    this game has been out since last jun and it has only had 3 updates most games had there first dlc and multiple patches 3 months ago

    I wanted to like this game so much but after 18 hours of gameplay it constantly felt like something was missing, sorta soulless

    Well, Arkane Austin has been shut down. No more updates, no offline single player. I wonder how long the servers will stay up and then it won't even be playable at all anymore. What a total SHITSHOW

    Live service games are good just gotta be maintained and worked on for YEARS before so u hve backlog content to drip feed and good systems to back it up warframes not tht good but ppl love it. Its still alive by a huge margin

    My friend played this for one day. His friends love it but I was like, "this game is too walky and open-world with nothing in it." There are fans, they exist (never met them though).

    I own a Series S and we got it bad with Redfall. Game is broken and ugly. But lord forgive me when i call the XSS a bottle neck when it literally held back BG3 😂
