Broncos management: We only gotta change the number on all these old Wilson jerseys we had lying around!
  • Zach Wilson is the winner of this deal. If you're a quarterback, not being drafted by the JETS is 3/4 of the battle.

Good for Zach. Actually going to a team that can actually help a young QB succeed and not be made a scape goat. People act like he was bad all the time. Not true. He improved a lot last year. I'm a Jet fan since they were NY Titans. What they did with him was not good.
  • Both Mayfield and Goff had more success in their first stops than any of the cast offs from the 2021 Draft. Mac Jones came the closest his rookie year, but Goff had multiple 4000 yard seasons in LA with a Super Bowl appearance while Mayfield had pair of 3800 yard seasons with a playoff win.

Watch Zach go to Denver and become the next Geno Smith. Sanchez, Smith, Darnold, Wilson. Maybe its not the QBs, but the Jets....

Please don’t lump Jared Goff into qbs who don’t succeed with their first team; he took the Rams to the SB and almost got the Lions there. That trade was all about money.

I still support Zach through all the ups and downs. This is really good for him. I just want him to be a good quarterback even if he isn't top or anything. I just see LOTS of potential in Zach. (This is coming from a Chiefs fan btw)

This is all a part of Sean Payton’s long game of making both Wilsons better and showing that he’s a better coach than Nathaniel Hackett.

Everytime I hear quarterback whisperer I have flashbacks of crazy eyes

To hear this kind of positive talk about Zach Wilson is amazing!
  • Interesting twist to the fued between Hackett and Peyton if he resurrects Wilson!
  • I keep hearing that he has potential. I hope that he can get steady leadership and mentorship from the staff and actually see if he's ready to do this full-time. Best of luck

Broncos really released Russ and gave up a 6 or 7th pick for ZW. Sean Peyton is either gonna be the greatest Denver HC ever or the biggest villain in the franchise history.
  • Zach's last full start (against the Texans) was arguably the best game of his career.🤷‍♂

I remember a little under 3 years ago Rich getting very excited when someone (Tony Romo maybe?) said that Zach Wilson looked like he had the same skill set as Mahomes. That did not age well.
  • @mattwoolley
My head exploded when he was picked by the Jets. It felt wrong wrong wrong from the get go. Never an energy matchup. Hope he can pull out enough confidence to have immediate success.

Sean Payton ain't no QB whisperer... Drew Brees was just one of the best quarterbacks of all time.
