Don't think there's a single Bergeron hater, there's Bergeron dislikers, but no one hates this man
  • When you've been watching him for 2 decades & he's your favorite player of all time 😭
  • Even as a Leafs fan I have nothing but respect for this man. Wishing you the best in retirement Patrice. See you at the HHOF! And congratulations on an amazing career.
  • One of the most world class player and what a amazing career
  • Pure class act. So proud that he represented our team. Thanks Bergy.

Not a Bruins fan but congrats to Patrice Bergeron on a fantastic career and being a class act as well đŸ‘đŸŒđŸ‘đŸŒ.
  • What a treat it was to see you play. A pain in the behind for Habs fans, but even though he was wearing a Bruins jersey, I have nothing but respect for this gentleman. I wish him a happy retirement, and I congratulate him on an outstanding career. On and off the ice, this man was nothing but class! Respect to you Bergeron. You will be sadly missed in the game of hockey!

A legend. First ballot, no doubt. One of the best 2 way forwards ever. Won’t be sad to not have to deal with him on the B’s, though!
  • My favourite player of the last twenty plus years, and favourite Bruin since Borque.

As a die hard Habs fan, I really respect Bergeron. After the FLA-BOS series, I realized that Bergeron’s career should NOT have ended the way it did. Bergeron deserved to be captain, and even though I’m a Habs fan, I really respect this guy. What a career. And I’m gonna be honest, he deserved to win a cup this year.

There will probably never be another player like Pat. An outstanding player, a true leader, Leafs and Habs fans worst nightmare, a great hero for an amazing city of Hockey and of course, a fine gentleman.

Oui, Merci Patrice. Tu es un des meilleurs joueurs Québécois dans toute l'Histoire de la LNH et le meilleur ambassadeur pour la Ligue avec Jean Béliveau.
  • @Jake_Broer
Thank you, Bill Guerin. Because you left us for Dallas, we got to watch 20 years of one of the legends of the game, playing in the Black and Gold.

Even though I knew this was an inevitability this summer, it still hit hard! Was a treat to get to watch his incredible career. Thank you, Bergy.

Another astounding accomplishment by Patrice Bergeron: According to the NHL, Bergeron ranks second in most face-off taken since 2005-06 with 25507, only behind Sidney Crosby. In addition, Bergeron ranks 8th in face-off winning percentage among all players taken a minimum of 500 face-offs since 2005-06. Coaches wouldn’t let a guy take so many face-offs if they had little confidence in him. Well deserved to be in the HHOF when the call arrives.
