Hello KaladKaren. I am an HIV positive gay man but I have not told anyone about it. I have been taking my RV pill for more than two years now. It saved me from death because that time I was really sickly kaya I mustered the courage to have my self tested. I never stopped working because I take care of my senior mother. She is diabetic and has Parkinsons kaya even during my sickly days kailangan kong humugot dahil kahit maysakit ako bawal magkasakit because I am taking care of her. I am an only child and it had always been the two of us since I was a baby. Lahat ng sahod ko napupunta sa bills, food and medical expenses niya kaya hopefully maging isa ako sa recipient. When Vice said, "It's better to be a big fish in a small pond rather than a small fish in a big ocean, " I felt that. Like Vice, I am one of my siblings who is expected to succeed. Among 10 siblings, I am the only college graduate and the only one who did it with flying colors. At first, I think the same; that life would be so much easier when I graduated. Then when I got my job, I really felt the weight of everyone's expectations. As a breadwinner, it's really hard to think of yourself when you know a lot of people rely on you and your decisions. This quote Vice said encouraged me to resign from my current low-paying job in a huge company that can't acknowledge my worth and go to a start-up company where I can influence a lot of people while enhancing my knowledge. My son only earns 20K a month. We are renting a house in Laguna. Hindi sapat yung salary nya. Kaya kung makatulong makatipid sa maliliit na gastos tulad ng veggies for food e napakalaking tulong na ito sa amin para makakain at least 3 times a day. God bless you. Happy pride month po. I am a proud Lgbtqia member of Dumaguete City. I was 3rd RUNNER UP MISS GAY DUMAGUETE 2002. I AM married with a wife and 1 daughter. Im a public school teacher here in Negros. Im writing this because naaksidente ako dahil last Dec 23 2021 nagkahika yong anak ko so bumili ako ng gamot but hindi na ako nakauwi dahil nabangga ako ng car. I was rushed to the hospital pero yong bill ko umabot ng 550k nabayaran ko naman sya pero baon talaga ako sa utang dahil yong savings ko ay binayad ko po.from Dec to May wala po akong sahod dahil leave without pay po dahil the accident happened not on a qorking hour. Sa ngayon naman po ay survive pa rin kahit papano. Sa september pa po ang sahod and teaching is my only bread and butter. Sana matulingan po ninyo kami. Love you po.God bless

Member po kami ng LGBT ng 5 years partner ko. And we deserve the help you can give for our house na pinagagawa namin. Absurd as it may seem pero the struggle and the long challenge para makamit yun was not easy. Like you and Meme vice. We start in scratch and until now is keeping our hard work to barely make it everyday. We are in the poverty line and still manage to give my siblings their needs. Wala na po akong magulang, mom and dad. Its great success story to tell specially sa mga lgbt na nawawalan ng pag asa, ulila and iba pang na ngangarap na kaya nila mag achieve kahit pa mahirap, with the help of God and hard work. Hi Ms. Kaladkaren, the moment I knew I was gay, I have done everything that I can in the pursuit of bringing pride in our community. I have worked with different people and organizations for community development and charity works. If ever I'll be chosen to receive a reward or gift, I will not wish anything for myself but to the more needy. As a member of the LGBTQIA community, alam natin ang pakiramdam ng makalimutan at maisantabi ng lipunan. I would like to help the Home for the Golden Gays to build a permanent place for them. Isang tahanan na masisilungan at kung saan sila maaalagaan sa takipsilim ng buhay. Hello po, everyone, especially po sainyo Ms. Kaladkaren and Sir Luke. Happy Pride po! As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, parang naging common na po saatin to be the breadwinner or future breadwinner ng ating families, it is actually both an honor and a big responsibility po, lalong lalo na po if you're still young and sabi nila marami pang kakaining bigas and isa pang estudyante. Wala naman siguro pong masamang itry ko pong humingi ng tulong sainyo tungkol sa studies ko po. I am an incoming third year college student and approaching na po ang pag gawa namin ng thesis, but unfortunately hindi na po ganong kareliable ang aking laptop, minsan antagal niya na po magloading, and sometimes din may mga situations na hindi ko na maintindihan na nangyayari sakanya, though usable pa po ito pero kung sa pangmadalian nakakatakot na mas mauna pa itong sumuko. Alam ko po Ms. Kaladkaren na naranasan mo rin po ito based sa story mo po sa interview mo po with Ms. Karen Davila, I salute you po kasi hindi ito naging hindrance saiyo and inspiration ko po ito para ma appreciate the simple things na kahit hindi best quality atleast nakakatulong. Happy Pride Month everyone. I will not ask for my self but for 2 of my friends who are undergoing lifetime medications. 1st is for Jan Leslie Guila who is undergoing hemodialysis twice a week due to renal failure and 2nd is for Kimmy Choi na nadiagnose with cancer and currently undergoing treatments. These beautiful beks are the life of the party. They are generous despite of all the challenges they are facing.
