Yoko Ishida's first anime convention appearance at Anime Expo 2002 at the Long Beach Terrace Theatre. At the time, Yoko Ishida's contributions to the anime world were "Otomoe no Policy" (Sailor Moon R), "White Destiny" (Pretear), and "Sugar Baby Love" (Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar). The Anime Expo 2002 concert kicked off the Para Para Max series, a collection of eurobeat mixes of anime songs and accompanying Para Para dance moves.
